    Great video; amazing space!!! Let me apologize in advance if this comment is too deep. Lol! You caused me to reflect on something. I’ve watched you enough to appreciate your consistently beautiful energy that comes through the screen, my brother. Just wanted to share a thought related to your observation on sitting in cloud covered darkness by the ocean. Please know that I know that there was absolutely no ill intent in what you said. I completely agree with you that all of us should definitely celebrate and embrace the inner light that shines through darkness. At the same time - over time - I have come to realize a need for humanity to overstand that natural periods of darkness in our environment (without light) is not something to fear; nor is it inherently evil. Darkness and light are actually interdependent elements in our universe. It is just what man does maliciously and oppressively in the cover of darkness that unleashes the evil and too often creates valid or even baseless fear. The evil predatory deeds of men should never define nor be associated with the beauty of darkness. Darkness in and of itself represents divine peace, stillness and rest. We simply have to be intentional in our awareness so that the unadulterated beauty of darkness becomes something that we cherish. Especially in a peaceful setting by the ocean. 😊

    This is not new. in fact, it's at least a thousand or more years old. It is cheaper because you are using your own soil. you buy your cement which is about 10% of the mixture of materials. Quarry dust is optional. Your forms are reusable.the labor is cheaper. you are speaking as if people don't know what this is. It's not more expensive. most people know about this. people want to see how durable it is. And they want to trust the process. They can find the recipe of the materials used. so it's a bit more cost effective, many people don't trust it yet. Even though there are a few of these buildings in Accra. but speaking of it in this way keeps people away from it because most people want this because of its cost effectiveness. So now what are we doing?

    • @EcotalkwithBrandon
      @EcotalkwithBrandon 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jamesclarke3248 Thanks for your perspective- it has indeed been a challenge for people to adopt these age-old techniques and now too often after it for cost savings.

    • @jamesclarke3248
      @jamesclarke3248 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@EcotalkwithBrandon And cost saving will sell it. if I were approaching that business as such,. I would be more interested in proper inspections constantly as the project moved on. I would sell classes mainly giving more details on how and why it is a strong structure and safe. I would learn how to inspect and sell curious people, interest that would cause them to launch their own business and I would sell a package of services that help their customer rest assure of the structure's strength . An inspection would come with the package and an educational class. I would price them about 1000 gh to 1300 GH.This will jump start the industry in such away that these services would become synonymous to the purchase of these homes. then market as such. sales would go up . I would work with the building permit associates that would agree with this program, that they would make. it mandatory in order to legally build a rammed earth home. Complying with the necessity of this packaged program to allow these packages to become mandatory in order to build. This would also play a part in obtaining a "certificate of proper completion" of the structure. yea let's call it that. This will stimulate customer trust. contractors compliance and safety. I would give the customer the permission to move in on completion of the house. Lets call it a "permission to dwell certificate," but they would need to purchase a seal of safety and completion stamped by the Ghanian government. It would be automatically a lucrative business. If these things are not done, It would take a long time to lift off this industry. I've asked people about this type of building, they say things like, the house would wash away in Ghana's rainy season.,or it's to new, or there are no regulations concerning the strength and building or safety of the structure. What I am saying is, to sell peace of mind, assurance and trust is key. Who knows, at that point, a customized home insurance , particularly designed for this type of building would be the other prosperous thing to do. The creation of this dish is that, this sells these buildings. The sales must be in a table model. Then a life sized show model, then apply the package which causes potential customers to relax. But one would need to have their building team ready because the launch would propel things out of the roof. anybody standing close will make money. When you do these things, you will be also sending customers that know the process, to the company. you should have already negotiated a percentage for your pocket.. then make even more money. that's the story.
