I love the adverts that force a bunch of people of different races together like it's not forced at all. Usually a room of people, 1 or 2 girls, a black dude, an asian dude, and a couple of white guys. Sometimes they may even throw in an Indian or another race for a bonus. Always makes me laugh.

The infrastructure won't exist for a long time, simply because even if we had 100tbps internet speeds, there's only so much that can do for latency with any form of technology that doesn't break relativity, distance and thus the speed the info can travel at, is still a factor, for this to even be possible without lag you would at least have the data transferring much faster, approaching the vaccum constant speed of light (fiber optics technically transfers data via light, however this does not prevent resistance, which slows down the speed of data transfer), as well as computers so far advanced of today's that they may not even be possible (constant of light still applies here for thought patterns of a AI). Basically if streaming games takes off, it's unlikely to be able to function to the level of today's quality for most twitch based games without noticable lag, simply because we are unlikely to ever break away from full latency issues, that said that doesn't prevent game makers from no longer making them, then again a good deal of gamers of today would probably outright quit gaming if streaming became "the future", so it probably doesn't apply to the current generation of gamers.

Luckily the airport printed our tickets for us. No idea how people operate in the rest of the world.

But anyone who uses a mouse will be getting motion sickness and nausea.
With bt I had 10mbps but they were fucking expensive so I went with talk talk and get 3.5mps on a good day with the right planetary alignment after sacrificing a haggis. Called talk talk about 50 times and they never fixed the shitty speeds. Isps are all fucking cunts.

One ISP ran the wiring in my area for free and because of that they have a monopoly on my area. The town refuses to let Verizon in to put down fibre, but to avoid being considered a monopoly they allow other ISPs to use their wiring, they just control their speeds and make them move at a 10th the speed on their connection.
Truth. AT'n'T ran fiber parallel to the road running right next to my home. "Fiber is not yet available in your area, but we can inform you of any updates in the future." Maybe when the new housing development up the road is built and populated, but I'm not holding my breath.

True story. My buddy is 1 street away from me and we live in the housing complex. I can even see his house. He has to use At&t with a 10 meg down and 1 up. I have spectrum with a 200 down and 25 up. Spectrum never ran the wires across the street and my buddy has to wait until spectrum decides to get there crap together.
Im a cable tech. - For comcast. As a company they really do care and have a lot of different packages to fit your financial needs. 15Mbs (essentials) for users that cannot afford internet but can look for jobs and submit resumes. 150Mbs gives about 7 upload 300Mbs gives about 14 upload 400Mbs gives about 20 upload 1G gives about 40 upload If your cable is clean, and serviced. You will have great service.
I live in a small town in the mountains. Our internet is maybe 2 MBPS on a good day. And that is $50 a month. There is one provider and they have stopped other better providers from coming in and that's it. No competition.

Proof that America has shitty internet services, and that the internet companies cut us up like a monopoly board: When looking for an ISP a couple years ago, we contacted the only 3 in our area (Century Link, Mediacom, and DishTV), Mediacom couldn't do it without literally rewiring our house apparently, DishTV said they don't provide service in our area (??? I thought Dish was satellite? WTF?), and Century Link was only able to provide a maximum of 5MBPS download speed. The next door neighbors have a Dish, and the people across the street have mediacom. This is 10 minutes from the center of downtown in the capital city of my state.
Here in Canada lol We have 3 Major ISP 2 of witch bassicly have the monopoly.... to the point were 1 of the two was tryna buy the other one and the goverment had to step in to prevent it from happening
I work for an ISP and believe it or not I’m in central Texas and there is google fiber BUT it’s only used for towers. We provide Line of sight internet via towers and a lot of our towers are running through Google fiber. Can’t get it in your homes though.

The ISP thing made me laugh. I actually have two providers in my area, but one has a majority of the territory. A buddy of mine literally *three blocks down the street* can use both ISPs and I cannot.
I didn't realize it was like that everywhere.

I know I'm about late but that bit you talking about the internet is so true. I have had Att internet because my rural area is either att or satellite. The max speed I get is 3 mbps on a good day. Right down the street they are getting like 20. I asked att about and they keep saying oh we're working on it. Such shit.

Thanks for bringing this up Gundam! I live in rural NC and yeah shit like this ruins gaming for me a lot, I can't get any ISP to get me a decent connection other than hughes net satellite internet. I cant play almost any games with my friends or family online with this cause the lag is too bad or cause the rain or clouds are ruin the connection. I want to move but I also cant afford to move to another appartment atm. Basically whenever I hear about services like this it makes me feel sick.

True story. My buddy is 1 street away from me and we live in the housing complex. I can even see his house. He has to use At&t with a 10 meg down and 1 up. I have spectrum with a 200 down and 25 up. Spectrum never ran the wires across the street and my buddy has to wait until spectrum decides to get there crap together.

I live in a small town in the mountains. Our internet is maybe 2 MBPS on a good day. And that is $50 a month. There is one provider and they have stopped other better providers from coming in and that's it. No competition.
Google already monitors and shares all of my personal info to every source it can. Why in the world would I want them as a part of my recreational activity?

Proof that America has shitty internet services, and that the internet companies cut us up like a monopoly board: When looking for an ISP a couple years ago, we contacted the only 3 in our area (Century Link, Mediacom, and DishTV), Mediacom couldn't do it without literally rewiring our house apparently, DishTV said they don't provide service in our area (??? I thought Dish was satellite? WTF?), and Century Link was only able to provide a maximum of 5MBPS download speed. The next door neighbors have a Dish, and the people across the street have mediacom. This is 10 minutes from the center of downtown in the capital city of my state.

I live near an Air base in the UK they have fibre optic , im about 2 miles away and BT gives us 300KBs download speed at the best of times.

I work for an ISP and believe it or not I’m in central Texas and there is google fiber BUT it’s only used for towers. We provide Line of sight internet via towers and a lot of our towers are running through Google fiber. Can’t get it in your homes though.
Gundam I can attest to what you said about a neighbor getting a better ISP had it happen to me and they literally were housed 100 to 200 feet from my home on the same side of the street.

It isn't a full pair of glasses, and it is currently being used in manufacturing for helping workers with instructions and notifications.
Google Fibre seems to have disappeared. Something about they weren't digging trenches deep enough for the wires, so the lines were exposed.

Rural Internet. I figured out why it is so bad. ISP uses good looking wiring from house to transfer line. The transfer line is the barbed wire fencing that separates the cow pastures.
