      What’s crazy is i was at the game and you kinda only hear your section (granted I was last row 300 level along 3rd base)as you cheer and embrace. Can’t imagine hearing the roar from a short distance

    It's ironic Montero hit the key RBI-single in WS Game 7 that sealed the title.

    • @jasoncoggins1034
      @jasoncoggins1034 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's not irony. Irony would be Montero making a boneheaded pitch call from behind the plate, that led to a World Series-winning Grand Slam for the Indians. Sorry to nitpick.

    Silence is golden. The pause between pat and ron, them taking I'm the Wrigley atmosphere, the roar and jubulence of the crowd. Two guys who have seem thousands of games at Wrigley, initially ecstatic and than stunned in silence upon reflection and relization. I think for a lot of cubs fans aswell this was the moment we knew, this year was gonna be the year, it really was gonna happen

  • @jedward5155
    @jedward5155 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That was the moment that allowed the Cubs to win the title. They had to have a moment like that to get them past the Ghosts of Baseball Past, and that did it.

    Roberts is a terrible manager. A left-hander was warmed up in the bullpen. Roberts left Blanton in. Roberts froze. He choked under pressure. Does anyone consider Roberts to be a brain ? No, no one does. All he does is yell at Angel Hernandez. That seems to be all he has. Pathetic. The Dodgers win in spite of him due to player talent fueled by a massive payroll.
