By far, the best Mexico City adventure I have ever seen.
Thanks Diana! That’s high praise 😊
Mexico City is one of the most beautiful cities in all the world, so green and clean
It is absolutely gorgeous! And the people are so kind and welcoming.
Umm, maybe the central and tourist areas. The remainder is a crowded, polluted, dangerous slum hole.
@JuniorKishin Based on your comment, I am 200% sure you never been to Mexico city, I can swear you are American. Mexico city is full of nice neighborhoods besides Roma Norte and Condessa , that you call the tourist area.
@travelerawakenings8477 you’re correct. We have have been to many places in CDMX and never felt unsafe.
While there are a few neighborhoods locals told us not to go to, and some we likely wouldn’t wander the streets at night in, that is true of any city anywhere in the world.
In fact, I’d say that in general CDMX feels safer than most major US cities.
😂😂😂😂😂
Great family video! Very enjoyable! Very simple, but you show and tell a lot about the culture and essence of México! I’m glad that you and your beautiful family appreciate everything there is to do and enjoy! The churros and hot chocolate look delicious! Blessings! 🌻
Thank you for the kind words.
Mexico is such a culturally rich nation.
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Mexico City is such a wonderland. I’m happy to see more people discovering what Mexico has to offer rather than believing in the lies the media spews about this great country.
You said it perfectly 🇲🇽 💕
!Me agrada mucho ver su vlogs, son una familia muy agradable y los chicos están lindo somos!!! Saludos desde Cancún
Gracias por el amor y el apoyo. Estamos verdaderamente bendecidos. 😊
Mexico is abundant in fruit, greenery and happy people ❤
It really is! 😃
What I like about Mexico is the social aspect. I wish we were more social in Mexico, we are all "independent" in the USA and we have parks but they are either deserted or trashed with homeless.
We love that too! Mexico is such a community oriented culture. Even the cities and neighborhoods are laid out to encourage that.
Agree, what a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing, family! ❤
Thanks for watching Auntie 😊
They are "Organilleros" organ grinders, they are the last few from the 18th century the tradition came from Germany and Austria. 🎵🎹
Very cool! Thanks for helping us understand the significance 😊
Bienvenidos familia 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Gracias familia 🇲🇽
Great vlog fam! You guys are truly educating many of us. Thanks!
Thank fam 😊
Mexico is such a wonderful place!
Just some trivia about the music boxes at 1:55 , they are called "organillos" or "cilindros" and they came from Germany in the 19th century in a time when there were no radios and the players would train a monkey to collect the tips. They can weight as much as 150 pounds and they are disappearing little by little. I am 62 y. o. and I remember them since I was a little child. Enjoy Mexico City!
Very cool. I knew someone would help us understand the significance. Much appreciated 😊
Great video, I will be there in Roma Norte tomorrow 👍🏽
Thanks! Enjoy 😊
That video of Mexico city at night with the drone was really nice 😎
It is such a majestic city 😊
Que agradable sorpresa ver a una familia extranjera, disfrutando de nuestro bella Ciudad de México, demostrando que se puede vivir cómodamente y nada que envidiar a ningún país. 😂
CDMX is a wonderful city, and Mexico is a wonderful country. 😊
México City Is a beautiful City, many things to do and see, one recommendation...get involved with the mexicans...we are friendly AND like to talk with foreigners...that would be a plus for you because you could be invited to their houses, AND take you to places we know, do not be afraid of us...greetings from Alcaldía Iztacalco, CDMX!
Meeting so many friendly Mexicans is our favorite part of being in Mexico. Thank you for always treating us like family. 😊 🇲🇽
Great video, nice family and lots of good tips! You guys are awesome.

It’s a wonderful city. Definitely a bucketlist destination.
What surprised me the most about mexico city is how popular k pop is. I would see so many teenagers listening to k pop and dancing to it. Was not expecting it here of all places
Lol. Yeah, we noticed that as well. Even heard it playing in one of the Ubers we were in 😆
Muy buen video que lindo saber que celas estan pasando muy bien

Verdes las avenidas mut bonito
Es una hermosa ciudad 🌆
I've met African American people who live in Mexico City, and they all have said they get treated better there, than in the USA, and have no desire to go bsck to the US.
Why would you call black Americans Africans? Racist..
Les recomiendo visitar el parque Desierto de los Leones, en el poniente de la ciudad
Gracias por la recomendación. Nos aseguraremos de visitarlo la próxima vez.
I have sisterlocks and I’m curious if you (or anyone who reads this) knows a place in Mexico City or Merida where I can get my hair done?
Hey! I wish I knew but I haven’t attempted to get my hair done in Mexico City or Merida. I’m usually doing it myself (at times) or going to my loctitian in Atlanta. Sorry! Let me know if you do find one!
Y'all have lived all over Mexico, if you could only choose one city to live in, where would it be? Merida? Mexico City? Somewhere else?
Probably 1. Merida, 2. Mexico City.
But there are still places we have not visited yet that we heard were pretty nice, such as Oaxaca and Vera Cruz.
18:04 GO HAWKS..!!
Go Hawks!!!!
Lo único malo es tanto vaso y recipiente de plástico. Basura etc. tratar de usar topper etc
Do you live there permanently or do you travel to different cities in Mexico?
We live in Atlanta, GA. But 🇲🇽 has our heart so we have set out to experience as much of it as we can when we’re able to travel & visit.
thank you so much i learn more about my country Mexico es tu casa
😊 Amamos México 🇲🇽
You’re wearing a Seahawk sweatshirt - Are you from Seattle?
Jeremiah grew up in Seattle so he goes hard for the Seahawks. But we are in ATL now.
@@TheFabJerLife I’m from Mexico City and my sister ,who’s born in the US and is Mexican as well, lives in Seattle since the 90’s so I’m a Seahawks fan as well.
Tell him Go Hawks for me!! 😁
@joelewishenry7886 so cool! Go ‘Hawks!
Those are the most luxurious neighborhoods in Mexico City, normally a real mexican can´t live there because it is very expensive, they cannot afford it.
😂
I like Roma Norte, Condessa, Polanco, and Juarez , but this is proven to be the hit area by earthquake in the whole Mexico City. This is the only reason I will avoid those four neighborhoods when i move to Mexico City in exactly three weeks. When the earthquake hit in 2017, those areas had lot of deaths and became desert for a while. People moved away from those four areas and refused to go back to their home. I can't believe how people can forget so quickly and moved on..i can not forget that. So, i decided to stay away from those four neighborhoods
As long as you found somewhere you are happy living in then that is all that matters. CDMX is full of wonderful neighborhoods.
Enjoy living there. Maybe some day we’ll do the same. 😊
@@TheFabJerLife Actually my Hotel for a short term month until i find a place is right there. Of course I will visit those neighborhoods. They are fun. I just won't stay there long term because I would have too much anxiety 😅
@travelerawakenings8477 Makes sense I (Jeremiah) grew up on the West Coast of the US so I’m used to feeling the occasional tremor every few years. 😆
Where are you moving to CDMX from?
@@TheFabJerLife I am moving from Merida where I have been for 6 months. I can't wait 😁
Do you like my City México and why ?
We love CDMX for so many reasons 😊
It's refreshing to see a normal, well-behaved, articulate black American family. America would be so wonderful if all families were like this one.
Thanks for the kind words. Nearly all the Black families we know are the same.
This is a microaggresion not a compliment 😒
@@octaviajones7217 It's a compliment to this family. Acknowledge this family isn't typical, starting from the father present and strong family values. That's the unfortunate truth and no matter how the compliment is worded, it might sound a bit insulting to other black Americans.
@JuniorKishin we greatly appreciate the compliment. But respectfully, you seem to not know many black Americans. The vast majority of the families we know have a father present and are very respectable.
Many ignorant Americans have a false view about Mexicans because of the lies told by Media. Unfortunately many of the stereotypes you seem to have heard about Black Americans is because the same media is telling lies about us.
As two people groups who have historically been the victims of colonization and false narratives regarding us, let’s not give into the lies, but see the best in each other.
Much love.
@@TheFabJerLife 👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌
Seriously, "Everyone" ???
Yes. We meant it literally… every single person on 🌍 is relocating to 2 small neighborhoods in CDMX.
Porque son de las Alcaldias mas ricas y lujosas, por que alguien no quisiera vivir ahi?, hasta los mexicanos que vivimos aca quisieramos vivir ahi... no es nada del otro mundo , solo son colonias de gente rica y fifi
Thanks for your input.
PPL MOVED TO CDMX BECAUSE ITS BETTER THEN ANY CITY IN USA. THE QUALITY OF PPL ITS WAY BETTER THEN THE PPL IN THE USA
Not sure you can generalize about 300 million+ people in the US that way. But Mexicans have nearly always been very kind and welcoming to us. And CDMX is a definitely one of the best cities in the world.
@@TheFabJerLife IM NOT GENERALIZE. BUT THOSE 300 MILLONS OF THE PPL LIVE IT UNDER A SISTEM OF CAPITALISM WHERE YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER FOR THE GOBERMENT AND CORPORATIONS I KNOW WHAT I TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE I LIVE IN HERE IN THE USA AND I KNOW OVER 40 STATES. AND THE CONSUMISM ITS THE RULE HERE IN THE USA PPL ARE JUST A NUMBER
@@MA-zv8wn Why don't you go back to CDMX? LOL We all know the answer. In Mexico, CDMX people have a very bad reputation. Please be logical and truthful, amigo.
CHOCOLATE ITS ORIGINAL FROM MÉXICO. THSTS WHY IS THE BEST OF THE WORLD. MÉXICO CITY ITS MORE THE ROMA NORTE ,CONDEZA , NAPOLES , POLANCO , SANTA FE. YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE MORE OPEN MIND. DONT LIVE IN THE BOX. THAT ITS A GREENGO. PRACTICE. IF YOU DONT ACTING LIKE YOUR GOBERMENT THAT ALWAYS. JUDGE AND SEE A DIFERNT CULTURE LIKE ENEMIES JUST FOR BEING DIFERENT. MÉXICO ITS NICE THE ENTRE COUNTRY. JUST RESPECT AND DONT STAY IN THE BOX
You obviously haven’t seen our other videos…
@@TheFabJerLife I will watch t. don't worry. Foreigners MOST OF THE time. Brought. Their mentality. OF rich áreas ARE THE goid áreas AND the othersones not. Such a BIG mistake. BECAUSE. Nice áreas ARE FULL OF heartless ppl IN MEXICO usa ,Europe, Asia ETC ETC please don't brinda this prácticas OF clasism to MÉXICO. IN MÉXICO PPL ARE JUST PPL. WELCOME TO MÉXICO
