@@j.aquisado8858 tbf thats more a speculation. There is only info that supports she planned the journey of the tarnished (which includes defeating Maliketh and unbinding Destined Death), but not the plot to steal fragments of it, which resulted on Godwyns death.
@@j.aquisado8858I’m not sure that’s true. Marika just sealed the rune of Destined Death within Maliketh so that nobody in her Golden Order would die. It was never her intention to have it used in any way. Ranni stealing a portion of that rune to kill Godwyn was an entirely separate plot. The reason why we tarnished needed the Rune of Destined Death restored is because burning the Erdtree would be fruitless if the very concept of Death is removed from it. Nor could we kill the Elden Beast in order to restore the Elden Ring to our design.

I recommend you watch Hawkshaw's "Elden Ring colour theory". It's pretty long, but it's an amazing watch that will get you to appreciate even more details in the game!

For fun, I decided to look up the prison sentence of what a certain demigod would receive based on their crimes. Sentence using US law lowball: ~89 years and 4 life imprisonments Sentence using US law highball: ~285 years and 4 death penalties
If you pick a fixed resolution instead of leaving it to the Auto, the buffering during going backwards would be reduced a lot. "Slow Internet" is really the greatest boss

A good portion of the info in the video makes me want to correct it, either because he got it wrong or because the DLC gave more context. But it would sound annoying xD so i'm here just reminding to take his words with a grain of salt and remember the moments he implies he is speculating
yeah that's unfortunately an unavoidable things that comes with early lore videos. Between misinterpretation, localization and data mining the first videos tend to age like milk. But it's alright just mean you need to not take everything at face value and form your own opinion as well

As someone who hasn't seen her elden Ring playthrough, i found her pet names for the bosses to be hilarious.
