aprilira rs 457 ground clearance is more than 150 mm, youtuber prakash suraj measured it in a video, it came around 160mm
As per my knowledge it is 134mm and also it looks like this only when we see this beast in front....of us.

@@rishrider21 Give RE a few more years, They probably will bring something revolutionary in all the 650cc's. Similarly with that they did with the 350's. Yes, liquid cooling would be amazing, perhaps even better and 140 sections tyres for the GT and an accurate fuel gauge.
Fuel Guage is needed but tyres are OK...let's wait for some time

Sadly many popular youtubers are defaming this retro Cafe racer by doing such drag races with shorter stroke engine bikes.
It's a Shame! That they're playing a major role in influencing our upcoming generation with hate for such amazing retro bikes with a common tag line of "slowest 650" without understanding bikes or even the difference of Engine and segments. There's no point saying something logical to these noobie inspired from these TH-camrs who defames GT650.
There's few reason why motorcycling is failing in India. This is one such major reason why such baised toxicity is ruining motorcycling here.

I totally agree with your viewpoint. People used to go crazy over the Harley Street 750 which developed marginally better ( if not similar) power figures but the same people go RE bashing without understanding the niche in which these bikes stand.
I own an Interceptor and I will be the first to admit that it needs more maintenance compared to the so called 'advanced' bike manufacturers but that aside the presence that an Interceptor and GT command is out of this world.
People in the UK and US are going crazy over our bikes because they are simple, easy to work on, old school metal. People in the UK and US are trying to move away from extremely technical bikes and here our own people are cribbing about 6 Axis IMU and Launch Control.
People seem to have forgotten the sheer joy of riding and only seem to care about drag races and spec sheets. Those people who are cribbing about not having a gear shift indicator are forgetting that our dad's and granddad's owned Yezdis, Bullets, Rajdoots, BSAs, Nortons, etc, which didn't have gear indicators and yet they rode fine. These bikes were less reliable, leaked oil, spewed smoke like crazy, faced punctures but they were still our pride and joy.
Now a days people go batshit crazy if a bike doesnt have LED indicators. Speaking of which...they will keep their hazard lights permanently on as if syncing to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!! PATHETIC!
As a motorcycling culture we still have miles to go...till then chappris will continue commenting: Slowest 650s.

GT will be like a retro bike only with only essential electronics unlike a RS457 of Duke399 which gets host of features as they're modern day sports and naked bikes with short stroke engines
