It always amused me how Wargaming thinks that the citadel is an empty box, and there is no heavy machinery that the shell could arm itself on (or be slowed down to explode inside after arming on belt armor)
Yes. Almost everything within a citadel is either big and chunky and/or very prone to ignite/explode. It's a metal box of wood matches soaked in gasoline.
And even if it did not explode - what happened to the machienery?
Way back in the day you actually couldn't overpen the citadel. One of the things they changed to specifically buff cruiser, especially light cruiser, survivability.
it amuses me how can you expect any shred of realism in shitgaming shitgames, if you want realism and not this arcade turd then look elsewhere for more fun and proper games
In case I missed a joke, it's the overmatch mechanics. If your shells are having large penetration rate while the armor (including the citadel platings) are thin. The shells are just gonna travel through, giving only minimal damage.
That being said, this is WG. As shitty as they are, at least they are not Gaijin.
For those who haven't known,
I made mistakes. I got exposed saying slur words in my Discord, and now I'm no longer a CC for breaking their rule. Upsetting is an understatement, but with that, I have learned my lesson. I'm sorry for what happened and won't ever consider doing it again. My objective now is to be wiser, improve, and keep going forward.
With that out of the way, I will continue making warship videos. Yes, the game had bigger dramas right now and WG management are unsatisfactory (always), but its not gonna deter me to make videos. Boats is my passion and having fun is the goal.
That being said, I suggest you look up the recent controversy regarding how WG treat the community, Missouri lootbox (or lootboxes in WoWS in general), and their predatory practices. While I have no interest with spending on boxes, I do not like WoWS heading this route, so I want your help by not buying these things and giving WG no reason to sell more of it. I think we all have a common goal, despite the flaws, it is still a great game, but monetary exploitation and ignorance by WG is like sending Yamato in Ten-Go.

I love how most consumables are “increase speed for x amount of time” or “decrease reload time for x seconds” while meanwhile the Dutch just call in a precision air strike.

@@Sjelton Its mechanic is like that of the consumables, meaning it doesn't have a quick a quick reload (though you can make it shorter with the Captain's AA skill), but just like torpedoes, it doesn't have any charges.
I don't have the ship yet, I'm only at Build Phase 16, but I played one of the early access ones (the Tier 6 one) and the air-strike is delivered the same as the newly introduced ASW strike that some of the BBs got to have some defence against submarines. Those do have "charges", but only in the sense that you can drop 2 squadrons if your skill is fully ready, they're not consumables either.
In fact, the air-strike icons and the UI to choose the strike zone are identical between the Dutch ships and the ASW planes that the BBs launch, which I can only attribute to WG's minimal effort policy rather than any attempt at consistency.
As a dutchman, I have to commend you on hitting all these memes out of the park.
