Nissan Titan Transmission P1759 Diagnosis,Fluid change, and repair solutions

Thanks to several TH-cam videos I was able repair my truck and save my transmission. I thought I was doomed when I saw the P1759 code but all the truck needed was a cooler hose replacement and a ATF change.

TO ANYONE WHO WATCHES THIS VIDEO DON'T USE POWER STEERING HOSE IT WILL SWELL UP AND LEAK I USED 4 OR 5FT OF 5/16 ID TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE WITH GOOD QUALITY CLAMPS THE CHEAP CLAMPS WILL LOOSEN UP AND LEAK

I used it and had no problem, maybe the they gave you a wrong hose.

Mine cracked the exactly same hose . I fix the hose but I don't know if I messed up the transmission The SES light came on p1767 and p1757 were the codes after I fix the hose replace the trans fluid and cleared the SES light codes the car it's been driving fine for a week now ( 6 hrs of driving in a week ) SES light hasn't come back on so hopefully everything will be fine. thanks for the video I hope I could have found it the day I have this problem 2 weeks ago.

What size and length did you use transmission line right under the radiator, it kinda has a little 90 angle in it? Mines cracked and needs to be replaced.

use a 5/16th fuel hose. They handle fuel pressure so transmission pressure should be about the same. Also the hose is about 5 inches long. Stearlership wanted $66.00 for the 5 inch hose plus an aluminum tube, plus another hose on top of the tube. Head to Pepboys and buy a foot of the fuel pressure line and 2 clamps. $5.00 at the most.

my armada starting doing this morning on my way to work. When I press gas its super slow then once I get up to 10 mph I'm all good all the rest of the gears work just fine. Am I low on atf??

I’m having that same problem right now on my 2005 Nissan Titan. That hose busted. I fixed it. Now my trans is slipping but I’m just hoping that it’s cuz I’m low on trans fluid.

I don't have this truck anymore but when replaced the hoses and added more transmission fluid, the code went away and no cranking or slipping, it was smooth. yours is slipping because it doesn't have enough fluid and you'll damage your transmission.

Mine busted and i.fixed it, might of put a little to much fluid but ran fine 6 months now it started to slip in 1st gear? Any ideas? AT check light popped up for few seconds
