UK Buy VAMTAC Rapid Ranger Air Defense Vehicles for the british army

The Vamtac Rapid Ranger is already in use by forces elsewhere in the world, particularly in southeast Asia. For the UK the tactical control console system used in Stormer would be put into the vehicle to help minimise retraining. As well as not differing significantly in terms of functionality, it employs the same missiles as Stormer, in the form of the Lightweight Multirole Missile and the Starstreak High Velocity Missile.

I would personally like to see the Weapon System Module of this platform integrated onto the Wheeled Boxer 8x8 vehicle to provide a higher level of crew protection and off road ability, as apposed to that offered by a HUMVEE type 4x4. Another reason for this choice is that the British Army is already set to bring Boxer into service.

NAH... use the Pinzgauer Vector... although was the wrong vehicle as a desert patrol vehicle and rushed into service to replace the armoured landrovers... the Vector would be better suited for this role.
