I think it would be great for the 6th iteration of Ben 10 to be announced and a release since it came out in 2005 it would be perfect to release it this year for its 20th Anniversary, and made for mature audiences and slightly the same as it was before, anyway really hope it happens
When Ben 10 returns for a brand new series they probably would have to different versions of it one that is the PG censored version for Cartoon Network and the other one is the Uncut PG-13 version for adult swim.
Tbh I can see them both crossing over for a special for each series; both crossovers matching their age ratings, since they've done something similar in the past and it lets them promote the other show so they will check it out or those who saw the PG version might grow up curious on the pg-13 version. It's generally how I found out about generator rex and the saturdays, thanks to their crossovers.
I definitely think Ben 10 will be released at the end of 2025 which means we could get an announcement by the summer or fall we just have to wait and see where Ben 10 is going in 2025 and I really hope it’s on adult swim this time because I’m 24 now and that would be perfect for my age of growing up with Ben 10
To be 100% honest, I really don't want "mature/teen-targeted" Ben 10. to those who do want that, go watch Invincible and please leave Ben as he is/was in Prime. We need to learn from what happened to Teen Titans going to Teen Titans GO! then Titans. If we ask for darkness, they're going to turn the light off completely. If Ben 10 really does come back, please just give us the same Ben we all know and love, no tone changes are necessary.
If they do not announce something this year, I hope Cartoon Network at least acknowledges 20 years of one their biggest merchandising juggernauts, they better
If it really is an continuation for the Classic, I am SCARED they will make it more-merchandise and less-quality of the Classic’s Art&Design, plot, world building (to day we have smoothie-gods, Lego Alien, ect)
I honestly think we’re going to have new Ben 10 announcements probably at the end of 2024 just like how they are doing with gumball by keeping people waiting for years for any updates. Hopefully we’ll at least get something for the older audiences such as myself who grew up with the franchise like if they put it on adult swim for Ben 10,000 or on max just like they are doing with adventure time.
If they can’t bring back the prime timeline in the show, I really think bringing it back in a video game series would be an amazing idea. We’ve had multiple super hero games 5 years into this decade, including a Ben 10 reboot game in 2020 (which was just… meh). Just imagine an insomniac-style Ben 10,000 game
What's crazy is that the Ben 10 Reboot movie Ben vs the Universe said that this was going to happen on of the characters actually said maybe in the next reboot 4th wall moment

Its going to be a comic that basically just gets no traction because comicbooks are sort of dead. Afterwards, the franchise will go into a hiatus that either gets a reboot when a lot of the fans are pushing late thirties... or just ends up as this franchise that's only remembered by a generation like so many others are.
@@Iamlewis93 To be honest I see it being referred to as the "Zillinial/Zoomer" Doug. Not because is anything like Doug but when have you seen anyone talk about Doug who aren't well into the late 30s/early 40s range?
yeah i was hoping it would come back.. man of action should've have mention the return of ben 10.. but all we got was a comic.. that all we get. Let just hope man of action made Ben 10 series and this time more serious instead of a reboot version
Well, I do watch the original series on Netflix and Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and Omniverse on DVD and the Cartoon Network app on my TV. No, I don't watch the reboot on anywhere because I don't like the reboot. I don't know when the 6th Ben 10 seriew will come out, exactly

At least the reboot kept the franchise going, honestly dont care anymore what they do with this franchise as long as it back in the lime light again, im tired of the fanbase being annoying about what series they like and don't like, just give it a rest already...

I hope the new Ben 10 series isn’t like the reboot because it was terrible, I hope the new Ben 10 series isn’t either a continuation of where Omniverse left off or a prequel series that takes place before Alien Force like a new series between the Original and Alien Force
Thats dreaming way to far my boy. We are getting a single comic this year. thats it. If we were getting a serious new show, they would prioritize THAT over the comic.
Ben 10 is pretty much a dead franchise, CN and WB haven’t given anything new to it aside from its upcoming appearance on CN vs. Jellystone!: Crisis on Infinite Mirths. No new animated series, no new merchandise (aside from Funko Pops), no appearance in Multiversus, no nothing. I guess the 2016 reboot is what killed the franchise in general.
Cartoon network and warner bros should really stay clear of anything live action that is related to the ben ten franchise and just stay focused on making ben ten animated because lets be honest ben ten as a franchise hasn't had the best track record when it comes to live action ben ten content so why continue to piss the fans off with cheap crappy live action ben ten movies or series when animation is obviously the way to go
I think it's finally time for Ben 10 to get a more mature series, since most of the fans are now adults, and I think a Ben 10 series would fit well on Toonami.
Considering that this year marks the 20th anniversary (damn, can't believe it's been so long since the original made its debut), I'd be willing to bet that this is the year *something* finally gets announced. However, what kind of project would that be, is anyone's guess, and no, I would not expect it to also come out this year. I can't remember who said this anymore, but someone involved with Ben 10 did say a few years ago that going forward, Ben 10 will get darker again, so we might see either a return to the Prime timeline, or a sequel/reboot that is simply tonally more similar to UA/AF. Frankly, part of the reason why I was not fond of Omniverse was that the writing and tone of the series was two steps back from what Ben 10 established itself as. I also found the artstyle very hard to stomach, with all the flashy colors and sharp contrasts, and it got too many jokes thrown into the mix, on top of featuring a less mature Ben with a new sidekick meant to simply be his opposite, a character who's always serious and doesn't make jokes. But Ben 10 was established a more serious kids show, while UAF were more serious teenage shows. Then Omniverse comes in, and we get... a less serious show... Not just that, but while the continuity was never perfectly consistent (UAF did make some retcons), another main gripe I've had with Omniverse was that it made numerous retcons to the universe for no reason, some of which were truly awful, such as what they did to Kevin, Osmos V, and the existence of Osmosians as a whole in the Rooters arc, which is decanonizing its own lore, thus creating a huge continuity error and reducing the Agregor arc from Ultimate Alien in particular... essentially to filler - and that was one of the most important arcs of the show. What about all those characters who knew about their existence and so on? Omniverse retcons were some of the worst things to happen to the Prime timeline and completely unwarranted. But, for all its faults, it definitely was better than the abysmal TTG treatment the franchise received with the 2016 reboot. Just thank god it did not come out for the anniversary, that would have been one way to make a mockery of the series... At any rate, going forward I really do believe that the way to do things right, really is just making multiple projects meant to appeal to more than a single audience, or trying to encapsulate the entire fanbase into one particular project. We could get a more serious Ben 10.000, while other, less serious projects can go their own way. I'd love to see a proper sequel featuring Ben 10K, personally. It would be the perfect return for old farts like us who have been here from the beginning. That way, one can truly eat their cake and have it too. But in the end, I think this is partially idealistic. They're doing the right thing with Adventure Time, but I doubt that treatment will be extended to many other properties, it'd be too good to be true, no. In fact, at most I can see it extended to Ben 10 and Foster's Home due to them being some of CN's most popular IPs from the last 20yrs, but I wouldn't count on others being treated the same way. And, it remains to be seen what will they even do with the next Ben 10 in the first place. I'd love to see Ben 10 return to its established serious roots - but frankly I kinda doubt Warner Bros. is smart enough to do that, because the tendency in animation these days does seem to be to cater to increasingly younger audiences with as little concentration and attention span as possible and no complexity at all, hence why Ben 10 received the TTG treatment in the first place - a reboot literally nobody asked for. We all wanted a continuation of the story, not reinventing the wheel, especially of a franchise that still holds up so well. I think this holds true for Bakugan as well, although to a lesser extent. Gen 2 and 3 were both tonally much less mature than the original continuity was, which noticeably affected the development of the characters and their relationship. Additionally, the edge and even the occassional horror it featured, such as the Doom Dimension, were gone from the future iterations. Menacing villains were also absent. Masquerade, and especially Spectra and Helios from the first half of New Vestroia were simply unhinged, before gradually evolving into anti-heroes, and finally heroes in Mechtanium Surge. Gen 2 was too forgettable, while Gen 3 was simply the wrong direction to take Bakugan as a whole...
