Wonderful, wish you can make a video for beginners that haven't touched guitars before . You're amazing
Am loving this. Have always wanted to learn this Congolese grove.
Thats Not congolese its from cameroon

Absolutely NOT!!!!! What she is playing is not Makossa. That is Zaiko Langa Langa from Congo. When were you born? Fifteen years ago? Solely for commercial purposes, the current Makossa is hybrid music including other genres such as Congolese Zaiko Langa Langa and Caribbean Zouk.
This is REAL Makossa from Cameroon:

Please I still need more lessons on makossa......thank you so much
uhuh ! This is what I was talking about - Slow down and teach us step by step - Don't tell us to go and figure it out - Not all bassist have the ear to decode what is played by other bassist
Keep up the good work - If you have a way to receive 'donations' to further production of more of such videos - let us know -

You too good, Israel says so
Hi, Bass Lady, what is the purpose of the foam wrapped around your fretboard? I am a growing bassist. I've been playing the bass for a little over a year and am interested to know the purpose of these sponges/foams wrapped around the strings.
It helps reduce the vibration of the strings. That also depends on the genre of song you are playing to.
What is the foam called? I would like to get so I can try and see how it enhances my play to reduce vibration/sustain. I typically play a lot of gospel/Nigerian worship songs. Then praise songs can vary from Makossa, High life, war raw and more.
Fretwraps
The fact that you even used the foam trick (which was created by early Bikutsi players) makes me so happy. This is how you truly do a cross cultural cover
this is cool... but am a learner pls i don't understand the numbers u are calling
What is the title of the audio itself? or is it something you sampled by yourself? I will like to play along to it.
It's combined praise songs, from different praise tracks
Hi anuty Blessing please can you help me with a person who can help me with lead guitar I need to get better
Please be using notes for the note people
Please be calling d solfas 4 us pls🙏🙏
👍
Yes i don't really know number style
Exactly I don’t just know the rubbish she’s been saying right from the beginning..... just call the solfa notation period
@@etieneokodi2523 Heyy....thats harsh. You don't do that.
Please stop using numbers(figures) 2 explain use d solfas(alphabets)dats d best way we cn undastnd

@@BassLady D solfas is much more beta 2 undastnd, tnx🙌
