Thank you for your comment. The tenor guitar is a Regal 4159-TS. The tuning is "Chicago Style" DGBE (same as top four strings on standard guitar tuning).

I see that the 6-string is capo'd on 4, playing (in the key of) a "C" formation, which is the key of E. This being a 3-chord song, the tenor, uncapo'd, will be playing E, B/B⁷, and A chords. Beautiful version of a beautiful song. Simple, beautiful, perfect. Thanks to this channel! Fred
@ffggddss Thank you! You have a good eye! You are exactly right. I used the capo on the 6 string guitar to try and emulate Maybell's sound. I believe she placed the capo on the 5th fret and used a C form, putting the song into the key of F.
This song seems to be subject to the "folk process" more than most. Almost like no two artists do it the same way, or with exactly the same lyrics. According to the guitarist's intro, it's over a century and a half old (1860-something), so this shouldn't be surprising. Part of its charm, I think. Fred
