I remember taking this EXACT toll road in 1992 to live in Key West as a 12 yr old with my mom and Dad. I was taking photos of it and my parents still have a few of them but there was nothing out there back then. It was just a 4 lane highway. I do remember my Mom telling me they just finished Sawgrass Mills Mall and we will absolutely come back. All I remember of the Original Sawgrass Mills Mall was the Computer City store back in 1994 when I got SimCity 2000 for my DOS computer. It wasn't attached but it was on the Mall Property.
Sunrise FL is the location of the Learn2 company headquarters where they make the computer learning training software for microsoft office 97 to 2003. Still this is a great drive!
I had no idea that that the southern portion of Florida was so flat. I mean Florida is no Colorado but at least once you get to the middle part like Lakeland ,Gainesville anywhere close to I-4 , you start to notice a substantial change in elevation. ( by Florida standards that is 😂😂 )
Well the highest natural point in Florida is Britton Hill at 345 feet in the panhandle. We have high rise buildings and skyscrapers taller than Florida highest natural point in all four of Florida’s major cities. -Lifelong Cocoa, FL resident
I heard on the news that the ride share drivers have been covering up their license plates with like bike racks on their things their car in the Orlando area to Not Pay the tolls idk about other parts of Florida though
