  • This was some of the BEST fish I have ever had! Wild Caught Cod and Halibut delivered direct to my door from Wild Alaskan Company! I cooked it sous vide at 134 for 40 minutes and then gave it a quick sear on the Camp Chef Sear Box on my SmokePro pellet grill. I must say it was some of the freshest tasting fish I have had in a long time!

Great video..I have had a subscription from Wild Alaska for almost 2 years. There stuff is awesome. What I really like is that while it s a subscription, I can move the frequency plus or minus weeks as used

I have been subscribed to Wild Alaska for a couple months with the Salmon only. In my experience, the subscription fish is really much better. Another company I really like for fresh fish is Vital Choice. That company is not subscription based and is like Wild Alaska in terms for flash frozen from Alaska and shipped to your door. My son says it is like a whole different thing than store bought salmon.

Any tips on keeping my walleye from breaking apart while in sous vide?. It came out very tasty but fell apart when removing from sous vide bag.

cook at a low temp like 122f for only about 30 minutes... fish is going to be fragile no matter what

Thank you. I deep fry after so it definitely will be done. Next time 121 instead of 130.
