Thanks for the review! I just got my Dr. Grip Ace from Japan and was fascinated with all its features. I've never had such a luxurious pencil in my arsenal of art and writing supplies.

Great review. Very cool pencil indeed. Only bummer is the use of too much plastic, which feels cheap and questions its durability. They should redesign one in metal version. I would certainly pay the premium for that.

Nice review. Was really hoping they put the Kuru Toga technology in it...

Kuru Toga is from Uni. They have something similar to the Dr. Grip branded as Alpha Gel. You should check the Alpha Gel Kuru Togas, they are really nice.

@@vestibulandaaos40 Thanks. I gave the Dr. Grip/Alpha Gels a try but the grip section was just too soft and attracted dirt/pet hair. I now have all the Kuru Togas and I'm very happy with them. I hardly look at other pencils : )

Hey great video but any idea if the ACE is the highest premium Dr. Grip offers for mechanical pencils or is the Full Black any better?

i have tiny hands. an XS in latex gloves so would this be too thick i wonder for me? never had a shaker pencil but does the shaker work when in motion at other times when not writing that you end up with too much extended lead randomly?
