In my mind, a batman beyond arkhamverse would be the logical next step for the franchise. The trilogy ended with batman retiring, we got to see parts of Gotham being rebuilt to have a very futuristic style. Plus the original villains have been used for each of the games, it would be a breath of fresh air to move forward. Lastly, will friedle has been very interested in returning as Terry.
I think the other logical next step is Arkham Origins sequels that cover the years between that game & Asylum. Also the trilogy actually ended with Batman faking his death & operating under a different guise then going on to join the Justice League, but they could always have him retire at the start of that Beyond game.
@@themadtitan7603A batman beyond game would be the best choice since it'd bring in new players and you wouldn't have to play the past games to understand it

The blood red night sky over Gotham, the newscaster’s voiceover on the averted Wayne Enterprises takeover, the classic Gotham goons, the capeless black Beyond suit reveal…and the rocket boots! And then the blood red wings! Then a vengeful and brutal onslaught by an ageless dark knight! But then… The pained breath. The eye twitch. The chest clutch and the silhouette of living Fear crumpling like a scarecrow in a storm. Then the tragic homage to Jason as a generic henchman beats Bats mercilessly with a huge open-ended wrench. Then the gun on the ground… The GUN. The cowl eye slits shifting as rage and pain give way to desperation and then to shame in two frames of brilliant animation. The RACK FOCUS to the gun. Don’t… …and then the pointing gun, the uncontrollable ripple of shame and of rage and mortality quaking down Batman’s arm, through his chest and into his failing heart where it finds its own reflection: the orphaned child in Crime Alley forever on his knees in horror and pools of blood, his mother and father taken by the same weapon-the same cowardice-he holds now in his hand… Then the unmasking and the reveal of Bruce Wayne. The Bat. The Man. Both of him know. It is over. The silent drop of the gun and the ghostly walk from the lighted door frame into the darkness… I am 53 now, and this hits like Shakespeare. Id really like a cyberpunk style batman so thats why id love to see batman arkham beyond with bruce's son and hin mentoring him like Kratos in God of War with you playing as both of them
I think they will do a year one flashback game. Where he will be up against someone who he’s having issues with and it keeps flashing back to year one Batman.
@@gabrielanderson7636 as a bow main on most games, I second this so bad. Especially if it keeps the tone and feel of the Arkham games and early seasons of the CW show.
Its so nice to see Batman being talked about again and to see Jake's nerdiness towards the character. He's just as passionate as I am about Batman and Batman games
Man I love the Scott Synder comics too, would be awesome to see stuff from that run factored into a game! I stopped after Gordon took over though - is that run worth finishing up?
James Gunn said that they will make animations and video games that connect with his DC Universe. They already announced the animated movie of the two Robins, and since the Batman movie will be The Brave and the Bold with Damian Wayne, surely it will be a Bruce with a lot of experience. I would love to see an Arkham-style game as a prequel to this Batman, not necessarily Year One, but something to get to know and explore this new universe a bit more...
So happy to hear about your success so far with your new workout program Jake! Maybe I'm biased from the knowledge but you look healthier, skin looks a bit fresher, you look a bit leaner. I went through a similar inflection point about a year and a half ago and I'm in the best shape of my life physically and mentally. Keep it up man, excited for you
I’ve wanted a Mortal Kombat game built on Arkham mechanics for many years. Like a Scorpion lead game with stealth kunai and sword kills, Arkham style combat but with MK specials for takedown style moves etc
A Batman Beyond game that looks exactly like the animated show and links the ending of the show with the 'Epilogue' episode, letting us play through the Terry years of being a fully realized Batman with his own villain gallery would be amazing. A whole new set of gadgets and abilities to play with, a whole new set of butts to kick, and a whole new story that no one knows anything about. Uncharted territory. But alas... That's just a dream...
Keep the batmobile strictly an alternative traversal method. Make it the style of the animated series. Let's go back to the best Batman. I know Kevin Conroy is no longer with us and I don't know what rights he gave for his voice work. But he so much dialog as Bruce/Batman recorded that you could create Batman games for decades using old voice samples. If not I'm sure one of the more prolific VAs could do a decent impersonation.
I would like to have a Batman game based on the begining of Batman and where while you advance on the story, you have options to choose on what kind of armor you will use with diferent gameplay options, like go for an armored suit that will make you slower but resist more damage, or go for a light weight suit that will make you attack faster, have diferent options on how to make your batarangs, diferent capes, and gadgets, that way you could have more replayability, with maybe some NG+ mechanics
They need to do origins 2 doing the origins of the villains not in the first game. And while it's in development release a remastered version of the 1st game to renew interest since you can't get that game on modern consoles for some reason
A reboot is what I would like with an emphasis of building the Bat Family with each new game. Like have Bruce be young in the first game with Dick as Robin and Babs as Batgirl and give you room to develop them into new persona's in sequels and introduce new members like Jason and Helena in the second game, then Tim and Cass in the third etc.
Court of owls was one of the coolest ideas to be added to the batman mythos in recent times, an unground society fits Gotham like a hand and glove plus the idea that a cabal, akin to the league of assassins, operating underneath the nose of the world's great detective is really interesting, however I do agree that they have been overhyped in some circles and I do think that there is a lot of meat left on that bone waiting for the writing creative team to elevate them to where they belong. Please keep on creating on topics you love; you can feel your excitement for the topic through the screen,.
Let’s get an Edge of Time style game in the Arkham-verse. Half the game in the past with Bruce and half with terry in the future. Both mysteries tied together and we see how they are different as people and crime fighters
Imagine a Batman Year One with the nemesis system. Being Batman starting out and slowly building your reputation throughout Gotham and spreading fear amongst the criminals. An open Gotham where you can drop in to fight random crime. These would be on top of the main story.
While recognize that it likely wouldn't have the mass appeal of the straight forward, combat based gameplay of the Arkham series, I would _REALLY_ enjoy a Batman game that has a focus on detective work and puzzle, intermixed with combat. We got glimpses of that in the past, specifically with Arkham Knight by spooling through crime scene recreations to get clues, but I'd like something more. Ideally, this would be with a younger Batman, probably pre-Arkham Origin, still piecing together what is happening in the criminal underworld of Gotham. I would see the gameplay being split into thirds; investigation/detective/puzzle work, stealth gameplay, and then combat. Imagine a crime happens, and you nee do sneak into an apartment on a rainy, depressing night. Piece together what happened, collect clues, sneak back out and return to the batcave and then put the pieces together to come to a next lead. Following the leads until eventually you reach the villain's hideout that you need to stealth and combat your way through, to ultimately arrest and drop off at GCPD.
DC and WB should capitalise on Nightwing's rise in popularity right now and make a solo Nightwing game set outside the Arkham Universe. That'll also leave room for a future Batman game. A good Nightwing game with similar story beats like Marvel's Spider-Man would be incredible.
I'm good either way on if they stick with the ark or do a new one. As long as the feel and tone is the same, I'm going to enjoy what they give us. I would be happy if maybe the joker was a side character. They definitely need a new Big Bad this time around. I loved the Nightwing in the Arkham games. That would be cool to jump back and see him before that. Maybe up to where he leaves? Anyway. More Batman is a good thing. It better not get any Live Service crap in it!
I’m cautiously optimistic. Sefton Hill and Jaime Walker were the ones who torpedoed Suicide Squad with the live service push and story ideas. Now that they’re gone, I think as long as they keep the core Arkham gameplay it could be good
I still think beyond is the best route to go down, because you could continue in the Arkham universe and still make something new and fresh, going back to classic batman just doesn't bring anything new, but having a futuristic Gotham, villains we haven't seen before in game from the Beyond universe and different stories to tell, it could distinctivley be an Arkham game but fresh enough to be something new
I think they should give us the best villains from the series…Joker doesn’t need to be the forefront of it, but he could definitely make an appearance…give us both the current Batman and Batman Beyond, have situations where you can switch between the two depending on certain missions and maybe flashbacks…gives us the Batwing and Batman Drifter…create one or two new characters etc…we need a game, it’s about that time!
@@killthomas8373Arkham needs to be put to bed. There’s so many other subtitles they could go with as it curtains to bats. Caped crusader, the dark knight etc. Arkham is over and I hope it stays that way as Batman in this medium shouldn’t be caged with the Arkham title.
@@WeimE28there is no way they will drop the Arkham brand for brand recognition reasons. If they are doing a Batman beyond game you best believe it will be tied to the Arkham trilogy. Bruce Wayne/joker have been done to death, literally and figuratively. Beyond would let them move past those characters as there is audience fatigue there.
Could you consider a Kevin Conroy tribute? Nov 10th marks 2nd anniversary of his death. I got a voice acting background and his voice was an inspiration for me since the Animated Series. I made a tribute to him using the classic BtAS toys with footage from Arkham and Injustice but I don't got ur reach, and he deserves much bigger tribute.
I’d like a Batman year one game where, by the end, you are more kitted out and mature. I’d like an aspect of it to be navigating the Wayne fortunes and businesses to ensure you can grow as Batman.
Either doing another prequel set in between Origins and Asylum or doing a Dick Grayson as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin game would be my ideal options for this project
What if sukerpunch took a crack at a batman game? I know a samurai game is quite different to a modern batman but the gameplay loop in Ghost just feels so satisfying so maybe they could recreate that punchy Arkham combat??
I definitely agree they need to change up the formula in some respects. Shifting away from what’s been done & villians they’ve used in past games. As a massive Nightwing fan I’d love a game that focused on Dick Grayson’s shift from Robin to Nightwing. Taking the game to Bludhaven & introducing fully formed versions of characters that were referenced in the recent Gotham Knights game would be really cool.
Imagine playing as Terry's Batman in a modern cyberpunk Gotham, with flashbacks that allow you to switch to playing as Bruce's Batman in the current Gotham, both characters connected through an unresolved case.
I want a batman beyond game, imagine playing as Terry in a Gotham city but similar to night city from cyberpunk while still retaining the gothic/art deco feel.
It'd be so cool to see how Azrael tries to take up the mantle and honor batman. They did such a good job setting up his character it'd be awesome to see how he negotiates not killing anymore.
9:44 I thought this was the natural progression for the Arkham series. Following Dick Grayson from Robin to Nightwing in a trilogy of stories. Oh well.
Im a huge batman fan, i want constant adaptations and variations of takes on the world being made at all times. But even i was hoping Rocksteady would tackle a different DC property. Maybe like a justice league game, so they could still do batman, but still touch on new ground. Plus it's long overdue
If they make a bat family game again, gimme Death Of The Family (joker using the skin of his face like a mask and it slowly decaying as the plot goes) - horror vibes, bat family teaming up together etc.
My first choice would be a soft reboot of sorts, by remaking or remastering Origins with the intention of it being the start of a separate universe so they can tell whatever stories they want without conflict of past games. I'm also okay with full reboot. No idea who should do it. Love the idea of Phantasm being used.
A kart racer.

A farming sim. You play as Alfred and take care of Wayne Manor and its assets, making money for master Bruce.
Batman: ArKart Racing

My hopes are that they just retcon the Suicide Squad game, and jump into Batman Beyond. A cool dystopian cyberpunk Arkham with Terry.
I could see this. It would be tough without Conroy doing older Bruce but I can move on.
Pretty sure they already did with easter eggs saying it's a multiverse thing.

I just want a Superman game, dude. Really got a taste for what a modern one could look like in that fan mod of the Matrix UE5 city demo.
Batman Arkham Shadows (VR) in like 10 days looks pretty good tbh
Who even buy a vr set and be excited about it no one
found one of the two people who are excited for it
I'm amped for it. Weird how smug some so-called "true gamers" are about having a thinner palate when it comes to the types of games they play ...
You know VR gamers also like regular games right? It's possible to be excited for both...
@@ayushsinghchauhan9558 It's gonna be a brand new 10+ hour Arkham game. Of course it's interesting (if you have Quest 3 / 3S headset) on the side.
@@hamndv Everybody who have eyes to see
Arkham Shadow 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Very excited based on everything ive seen. The developers played all previous titles in the series and chose this as a passion project as fans if the Arkhamveree.
A Green Arrow game would fucking slap
@@gabrielanderson7636 as a bow main on most games, I second this so bad. Especially if it keeps the tone and feel of the Arkham games and early seasons of the CW show.
Green Arrow would be the best solution here. They can even start the IP small like they've done with the Arkham games (Metroidvania > open world)
Don't do that, don't give me hope
My man! Give me a green arrow game!
As long as it doesn't turn into a gd fps...
No its time for a cyberpunk batman. Finally a time for batman beyond.
Can Warner Bros just give us "Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings" already?!
Keep it up man, excited for you
I want a Gotham that looks like the dark place from Alan Wake 2, and I want a new take set in that kind of world.
Loving that you’re spreading exercise to the gaming world. It’s so important, and so many of us ignore it. Love the content, Jake!
CYBERPUNK BATMAN BEYOND GAME 2087 PLEASE
1:30 Jake, I'm not gonna lie I spaced out for a sec and got CATAPULTED back to reality upon hearing this (lol)
Batman Beyond. Have challenges for missions where if you dont do it in time, you dont get back to your girlfriend in time and she gets mad.
But alas... That's just a dream...
rocksteady might as well rename themselves to batman studios like damn i'd love green lantern or literally anyone else
A continuation to Arkham origins would be great with the nemesis system.
This news made me Rocksteady
They need to do origins 2 doing the origins of the villains not in the first game. And while it's in development release a remastered version of the 1st game to renew interest since you can't get that game on modern consoles for some reason
Good job on working out jake, recently got into it myself. Keep at it
A reboot is what I would like with an emphasis of building the Bat Family with each new game.
Like have Bruce be young in the first game with Dick as Robin and Babs as Batgirl and give you room to develop them into new persona's in sequels and introduce new members like Jason and Helena in the second game, then Tim and Cass in the third etc.
Thank you Jake, absolutely love your content!!
THANK YOU!!
Arkham origins 2 would be a great story showing batmans development of building the bat family. Theres alot of potential there.
Don’t threaten me with a good time.
YEEEEES! Some time travel must do, young Batman meets younger and Mcguinnis
This was an episode in Justice League Unlimited.
That would be nice. The best of both worlds.
Batman: Beyond Arkham
Doesn’t even need to be Arkham related. Just do a Batman beyond game set in a different universe than Arkham.
@@WeimE28 or you get the best of both worlds and do Beyond within the Arkham universe
@@killthomas8373 Arkham has both the joker and Batman being dead though…Maybe time to move on
@@killthomas8373Arkham needs to be put to bed.
I've wanted a live action BATMAN BEYOND for about quarter century.
Thanks, thumbs up, have a great day.
Would love a batman beyond game
They should make a Superman game in the Arkham verse
Could you consider a Kevin Conroy tribute? Nov 10th marks 2nd anniversary of his death. I got a voice acting background and his voice was an inspiration for me since the Animated Series. I made a tribute to him using the classic BtAS toys with footage from Arkham and Injustice but I don't got ur reach, and he deserves much bigger tribute.
I’d like a Batman year one game where, by the end, you are more kitted out and mature. I’d like an aspect of it to be navigating the Wayne fortunes and businesses to ensure you can grow as Batman.
Imagine a Batman with the Nemesis System. Gangs that have a hierarchy that lead up to some of the main villains. Would be so sick.
Now that I can get behind. They perfectly captured a the both gritty and neon lit cities with their infamous game I can see them make a Batman game.
Batman Vs The Justice League would have gone over a lot better than SS.
IF they made a fun game... I think they have had good ideas scarred by gameplay that simply isn't fun
Batman beyond arkham better be the next game.
It'd be so cool to see how Azrael tries to take up the mantle and honor batman. They did such a good job setting up his character it'd be awesome to see how he negotiates not killing anymore.
Good for you Jake! Get those gains, and hopefully inspire some ppl to do the same
I want a Batman beyond game SOLELY for the name “Batman: Beyond Arkham” it’s so cold
Arkham Shadow looks like the most exciting Batman game in a long time.
Batman Beyond please.
