    You have to question the intelligence of someone that would confuse a $1 dollar bill with a $100 bill.
    And the color of the mighty "GREEN BACK" will never change.

      I mean it is kind of weird when we think about how similar all our money looks. The UK and Canada have really smart systems where different bills are different *sizes* so even if someone is blind they can tell which bill they need.

      @@CLKagmi23i don't like the different size money, the different color money is pretty but i found it useless otherwise. I still looked at it to see what denomination it was.

    I don't agree about Americans talking loudly because of competitors. If we are in a Library we whisper, if we are outside we just talk. We don't worry if it annoys anyone. It really depends where we are. If you are at a restaurant we just talk. We are taught there are two volumes when we are young. Inside Voice and Outside Voice.

    America has a one dollar coin… and a 50 cent coin

    • @oregonchick76
      @oregonchick76 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      And the coin names are fairly logical. Quarter is a quarter of a dollar in value. Nickels are named for the material they were made from originally. A penny, a one-cent coin, comes from the French word cent, meaning 100 (how many you need to equal a dollar). Dime is derived from the Latin word decimus, meaning 10; it's a 10-cent value and you need to have 10 to equal a dollar in value.

    Imagine if this video was an American complaining about their country...this guy is so small minded. I mean who decides to travel and then complain "This is ridiculous, why isn't this place just like where I come from?"...crazy. Yes they do take your card away in places, but the laws are very strict on theft, as well as employment of thieves. If you wish to never be employed anywhere again for life, then go ahead and steal, but you better be very good at it, because you will get caught, fired, and good luck surviving after that. The US keeps a work history of everyone, and that determines how easy or hard it may be to get employment in the future. Here your reputation is paramount for success.

    Lol this guy’s anger at the most irrelevant shit shows his anger is misguided, he needs some deep reflection. If I didn’t have proof he came here, I’d think he’d never been. I’ve never seen…flags on shoes, you have to build a good credit score to get a credit card and since he’s not a citizen he wouldn’t have been eligible. Airlines are businesses, it’s up to an individual to determine whether they fly enough to get one. And complaining about quarters instead of having 20 cent pieces and having dollar bills…even though we also have dollar coins…and the fact that our money is green?? He clearly hasn’t seen a modern $100 bill cause it looks nothing like a $1 bill. It’s like he’s angry because the country developed differently. So much hate man, take that negative energy somewhere else

    Everyone loves to hate on 🇺🇸😂. Our money is all green, but the denominations are in huge print so it’s kinda hard to get them mixed up. I think the colorful money looks fake. If you look like you’re under 40, you will be asked for ID. All individuals need ID so adults don’t buy alcohol for people under the drinking age (21). We will never change to the metric system. The imperial system works for us. So when in Rome do as the Romans do. We talk loud because we like expressing ourselves and having a good time. The talking over others depends on the person.

Please learn this: check out the marvelous wonders and really great people in-between the cities. We're all different in so many ways but most of us love our crazy country-difficulties and all. We treasure hospitality for everyone. We smile first, help open doors and willingly help visitors figure things out. We've been known to do "pay-it -forward" for many things, especially food. This means I pay for the food for the people behind me-just because it's a kind thing to do. Not once have even my old grandma or youngest child confused their dollar's value either!😂 From rural Indiana.😊

    Its always a laugh for Americans to listen to small countries tell our large country that it needs to change. Do they travel to the other large countries like Russia and China and tell them to change everything about their country? They need to learn that a country as large as ours will never cause the chaos and expense of change to please country's that are the size of just 1 of our 50 states. It would make no sense to emulate these tiny country's. But it always fun to watch them complain.

    A lot of Americans watch the BBC or read the Associated Press for international news! It's unfortunate because our news channels on TV now are very profit-driven, so they often only cover things that they think viewers will get either really scared or angry or happy about because those things keep people watching. We used to have laws about what news channels needed to cover, but Reagan repealed that law called the Fairness Act in the 1980s.

    Debt is not necessarily bad. Uncontrolled debt is bad. Taking on debt with high interest is bad. I have credit cards and I have never paid interest because I pay it off every month. It builds confidence in your ability/willingness to pay off a debt which raises your credit score. Why save for 20 year to buy a home while you pay rent when you can just get the home with a good interest rate and move in.
    In economics debt is not automatically a bad thing.

    The best way to think about the American states and their different laws is to compare it to the European Union. The EU is union of many different countries comprising a huge land area. Each country has its own laws yet share some common laws with all countries. The USA is a union of many different states comprising a huge land area. Each state has its own laws yet shares some common laws with all states.
    I hope this helps with beginning to understand our legal system.
    It may also explain why the USA is a country of diversity. What is normal in one city may not be normal in the next. In the USA this is normal for us. Conformity across this nation is to exception not the norm. We're just too big a country.

    The credit card thing is not big deal -- they take it to the machine in the back and ring it up. Nobody cares. Of course, if something malicious is done, there's a paper trail and everything can be resolved. If the server tries something illegal, they could be fired and prosecuted. Also, this constant ranting from visitors about the U.S. sales tax is out of control -- how many more videos like this do we have to endure. Sales tax is often different in every state, every county, every city -- so it would be impossible to tag everything with the total price including tax. America is the size of Europe. And we Americans know how to roughly estimate the total cost of everything including tax, and if we're not sure, just look at the itemized receipt.

  • @portialancaster3442
    @portialancaster3442 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

    The USA's paper money is all green and all the same size. However, it does have its denomination (amount) posted on all 4 corners of the bill, front side and back side. Our coins are differentiated by their size, the smallest coin being the least valuable.
    The bills also have different images on the front and back according to denomination. We Americans often sort our money by denomination to make life easier. It is just about impossible for a seeing person to confuse our currency, just look at it!
    America is not dummies; the ability to read and do simple math are required.

    I can easily find international TV. Re asking what country in So. Africa, I understand that we might think of it like the northeast, South, southwest, etc., each consisting of different states. Just a guess.

    Another interesting video, guys. I live in Texas, and some of our laws are different. For one, we are an open carry state, which means you can openly carry a gun. But, you can't conceal it without a special permit. Actually, you usually only see guns carried by law enforcement. A lot of gun owners just keep them in their house for protection of their family and property, or in their car for personal protection. But, it's not like the "wild west" as in the cowboy movies.
    The other thing is debt. It is a blight on Americans. It is so easy to accumulate debt here, becsuse the credit card companies want you to stay in debt, so they continue to make money from you. We use to have usury laws to protect people, but not any longer. Usury creates ridiculous burdens on people.

    Our news definitely covers international events we just don't have international news channels. There used to be RT here but with the war it was taken off air and we have Al Jazzera but it isn't carried with all providers not sure how popular it really is here. There is BBC as well and I think you can get Sky News as well. We do have dollar coins too always have you don't see them often but we have them and we have half dollars too. We even used to have half cent, 3 cent, 2 cent. Those have all been gone 150+ years though. I collect coins and have a bunch but its not like you are going to get them in change unless somebody stole a coin collection and is out spending. Some restaurants now have card readers on the table though on every table to use your credit card right there. Mostly big chain places. Our paper money is green but its not like they all look exactly the same.

    13:45 The thing about TV is, nobody watches TV. If you're gullible enough to pay $100/mo for cable then it's your own fault for being subjected to these sleazy commercials about lawyers and boner pills. I dunno about this guy's opinions man. My last edit 15:51 this guy says change to be like The Rest Of The World, but The Rest Of The World is kind of backwards compared to the United States, and I say that as someone who doesn't live in the U.S. Maybe The Rest Of The World should change to be like America. 🤷‍♂🤣

    5:40 He may have a point but it may be at the top of his head on this one, if you mistake a 100 dollar bill for a one dollar bill that's user error.

    Lol you will know when you have a 100$ bill or a 1$ they feel totally different the 100$ is a bit bigger. So many things are not true lol. And you don't have to use it if you don't like it 😂

    I get a laugh at this. Our medicine adverts go like this. Do not take this if you are allergic to it, which you will find out if you are allergic to it after you take it While this medicine will get rid of your headache, some side effects might be that you lose your sense of smell and taste, which you might find after you take it. Or your left arm might fall of in certain circumstances. USA is fun !!!
