I’m so thankful I found anti-MLM content when I did because I was so broken emotionally. Constantly thinking I wasn’t working hard enough or trying hard enough for YEARS.

I checked myself out from the toxicity of that team a few months ago. Agree, very cult like and people are being harmed by her. I love the products and the company, but that team .... it's toxic

Thank you! I just want others to know they are not alone in this! The exile after leaving an MLM is so real.
The voice message at the end is the definition of gaslighting because she doesn’t want to be seen as the bad guy.
I try to remember that it’s not the people… it’s the business model and crazy pressure from uplines and the company.

Looks like Hannah Alonzo may have been sued/threatened by Melaleuca. Do you know anything about it?
@@jakzine540 I don’t know the fine details. I did watch her correction video and it seemed very scripted and unlike her, but I also know that is a big company and they have way more money to spend on lawyers than any of us do. So I have a feeling there was some sort of an agreement that they had.

I can see how much you had to put yourself out there to share this information and i just want to say are really heartfelt thank you to you for doing it. Not the same conpany, but my entire social circle has been swallowed up by monat in australia and ive been seeking this 'peek behind the curtain' info to remind myself that im not crazy. And that its not the perfect utopia they project on social media.
Ive lost so many friends from it. Your video gives me hope that they will get out.
You’re definitely not alone. MLM’s use many cult-like tactics to make members feel isolated in being unsuccessful. They make it seem like you’re the problem when you’re not. I’m sorry you’ve lost friends, and I hope you’ll gain better ones.

I love how she told on herself in the voicemail. You hadn’t posted this video yet so her saying those things tells me she 100% knew what was coming and wanted to make you feel bad or stop you from saying them.
I still buy some Melaleuca stuff cause I like it but I don’t have an account. I have someone who has one order it for me lol. Proud of you for being brave and speaking about your story!

I’d of been kicked out already 😂 I’m so inactive on social media. Every once in a while I go on a kick but I don’t ever allow social media to “rule” over me anymore. If I feel I want to post I do but most of the time I’m just chill and do what I want. Lol 😅
I love social media, but HATED having to use it to “run my business”.

Omg. That voicemail though. She sounded so aggressive the entire time and narcissistic. For her to say that she always checked on you and considered you her friend and then for her to say that she didn't know what was going on with you and didnt care to know. She just wanted to try to cover her tracks and gaslight you. Honestly, it gave me the creeps. Thanks for sharing your story! Glad you got out.
People get scared when they know someone is going to speak about them. It’s unfortunate because she isn’t a terrible person… shes just in a corporate cult.
After being in Younique, Limelife, and Melaleuca, the only good thing was meeting you! I'm so happy we got out!

all MLM's are totally scammy. Several times I've almost joined different ones but I hate sales and I always just feel they are scammy or inauthentic so I never end up doing them

This happens every so often in Melaleuca. Every so often a group of career MLMers comes in bringing their practices and build large teams fast which leads to stories like yours. You're not the first and you won't be the last. I looked up your profile and your enrollers on Facebook and it looks like you got involved with some career MLMers / Protestant Christians (cue the weird baptism 😂) who use their faith to promote their MLM or direct sales teams or whatever they're involved in at the time. I’m sorry this was your experience with Melaleuca from your post on Facebook it seems like you don’t have a problem with the products just certain practices. This situation is more about your experience with your support group than about Melaleuca as a company. But I understand your perspective and I hope you navigate this without any issues
I left a lot things out about melaleuca because I didn’t want to be forced to take my video down. They are scummy as hell, lie about product cleanliness, and constantly brain wash reps. You can’t even receive your check unless you watch a 10-15 minute video on the “opportunity “🙄
@@therealsarahjean Call it scummy but the money is always on time on the 12th as you know and it's important to make it clear that Melaleuca pays reliably every month. The direct deposit video you’re talking about highlights people advancing earning bonuses and monthly incentives. You can skip the video if you don’t want direct deposit. Melaleuca invests in educational videos or 'brainwashing,' as you call it to help consumers do their own research. Interesting I thought I saw you mention that you like the products and that Melaleuca didn’t need a referral/MLM program to sell them. Maybe I read your Facebook post wrong.
Again like I mentioned before you’re not the first and you won’t be the last. Melaleuca’s real issue aside from maybe not liking a specific product is when career MLMers come in with large groups, climb the ranks quickly, and have success stories. But in reality, they leave behind stories like yours because their main focus is boosting their volume instead of genuinely helping people. I’ve seen it many times.
No offense but you’re pretty MLMy yourself having been in 3 companies. I’m glad you didn’t keep bouncing around and have been able to clear your head. The industry can be really shady and takes a toll on your mind, body and soul
Although i like their products, i recently canceled my subscription after listening to your story.
I absolutely love some of their products. It has not been easy replacing some of the items I’ve used for years. But for the sake of saving others- and not endorsing that business model. I had to.
If they ever choose to change to affiliate marketing without the MLM structure I will gladly start purchasing again.
