- Again, we do love a good market.. And the Sunday night markets in Chiang Mai did not disappoint!! They open at 5pm every Sunday and run through to 10pm. It seems that EVERYONE in Chiang Mai comes to therse markets and for good reason..
Great food, Great shopping and a great atmosphere, what more could you ask for??

We wish night markets were more of a global thing, they look so cool. What a great find! Nice they have a crossing guard, don't see a lot of those in videos 😁😁Quite an array of different booths. All the food looks so good. LoL that was my thought too when you got to the sushi. Those bowls were really colorful. All the fruit looks so good! LoL yeah don't think they're selling a lot of the wooly hats. Wow it just keeps going. Frozen coke sounds like just what you need to cool off. Don't think we'd be loosing weight staying close to that night market 😁😁

I'm not sure where or when the myth of Elephant pants being popular started, but of all the videos of Thailand I have seen, they definitely are not as popular as some people portray them to be. In this video I estimate you passed about a thousand people or more and only around 7 people had elephant pants on. All of them were women. They may, however, be popular with a certain tourist demographic, but I have not seen it.
Chiang Mai sure is wonderful. The food and the colorful night markets are incredible. And the people are amazing.
Hahaha... Elephant pants are for sale all over Thailand, i think it is just one of the things that tourists buy when they are there...Chiang Mai is an amazing place, the best of Thailand in our opinion! Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment 👍
