I am a native Romanian speaker but I’ve been living in London for the past year so maybe that helped a bit . As in for tips , just try to breathe. I panicked a lot during the writing part hence the lower band score. Breathe and it will be 10 times easier that you’d expected once you’re there . Hope it helps .

You just need to watch all of Liz's videos on vocabulary and speaking. Her videos worked perfect for me, so watch every video she has uploaded. The other aspect that has worked for me and which I believe would benefit you in the speaking test is that, you need to act like you are enjoying every second of the conversation between you and the examiner. Even if you feel tense don't show it. Smile and be happy that you are giving the test(this is what I did). It is very important that the candidate shows interest and is happy to answer the questions. Do not think about the time, the examiner will make you feel comfortable so do not worry about anything. I hope this suggestion helps you. This is a very common suggestion that one could give but it is actually very very important. Good luck! :)

@@universal4334 well, do the official tests from the book which you would have received from ielts, make bullet points of the very important things in speaking and writing section because whatever you say or write won't be exactly wrong, but there are some particular things which you must say or write regarding every topic. I referred to lizIelts, simon ielts, and magoosh free material.
@@universal4334 also practice part 2 of speaking section extensively, i stopped speaking before the time was over and then there was an awkward 5 seconds gap, thus I got only 7 in speaking

Such a wonderful learning way and so much perfect , also honest way. I watched so many channel and I realised some instructors They do not have the purpose of teaching permanently. They sometimes teach tricks. It's not fair way to learn.

However, I will say it's an illness with no current treatment or cure, and which few people fully recover from and many stay profoundly ill for decades. However, I have recovered from it once before in the past and hope to do again. Unfortunately, many things have been stacking against me over the last few years. Hopefully this year and next year will see improvement again - fingers crossed for me!

hi Liz, I'm in a big confusion. I'm practicing mockup tests in a IELTS coaching of Bangladesh. I always try to follow your suggessions and structures in each part of IELTS. In the speaking part, I used all short pronounciations as you said, for example: I said: I'd..., i'm..., don't..., name's...etc. But they strongly recommanded not to pronounce any short form. They argued and said speaking part is also fully academic and formal according to British Council. I'm really confused! Pls reply.
Satadal Karmakar Hi, the speaking test is similar to real life as possible and you need to speak naturally - which means using contractions just as native speakers do. hi Liz, I'm in a big confusion. I'm practicing mockup tests in a IELTS coaching of Bangladesh. I always try to follow your suggessions and structures in each part of IELTS. In the speaking part, I used all short pronounciations as you said, for example: I said: I'd..., i'm..., don't..., name's...etc. But they strongly recommanded not to pronounce any short form. They argued and said speaking part is also fully academic and formal according to British Council. I'm really confused!

Satadal Karmakar Hi, the speaking test is similar to real life as possible and you need to speak naturally - which means using contractions just as native speakers do. Here's an official link to learn more: takeielts.britishcouncil.org/prepare-test/understand-test-format/speaking-test. I also recommend you get information either from an IELTS examiner or from the British Council IELTS officials (not from teachers who are not trained specifically in IELTS).
