An eastbound drive down I-70 through the city of St. Louis. Enjoy the ride! I'd like to thank user countenanceblog for his help on this. Music: Shuriken by Madeon / eluko79
@@SlowedByCinnamxn Dude, chill, at the time I saw this it seemed like a decent stretch of road, that was before I went west and have seen more things....why are you on my case replying to my comments from other people's videos? How old are you anyway?
+Freewayjim, I’m a teenager and I’ve been a fan of you, eluko79, TheSolarcatcher, InterstateJD and Asphalt Planet for more than a Year now. I just Created this account only couple of Weeks ago. Iwas just giving out an Opinion, I personally think that I-70 in St. Louis sucks, and I like I-64 better. If you like I-70 and I don’t like it, it’s okay. We all have opinions.
@@SlowedByCinnamxn I like I-64 Much better as well, not sure where you made the conclusion that I didn't. "Liking" one road is not an indictment on another.
I dunno what the heck happened to my original comment, as I was the first one to do. Oh well. Great video, man. I've never been on the stretch of I-70 between I-170 and downtown, so this was interesting to watch. I find it a bit odd they went ahead and reconstructed the overpasses, without improving some of those narrow on/off-ramps, but oh well. :-) Had no idea I-70 was being relocated; that should be a huge land boon for developers in downtown when it's all said and done. "Thumbs up!"
True but on an unrelated note, there have been talks about capping the depressed section under the Arch (sort of making it a mini-tunnel) and making a more pedestrian friendly entrance to the Archgrounds. Which I personally think is much needed as well as this bridge because the current I-70 bridge also serves as the I-64 and i-55 bridge and can barely handle the traffic that it currently faces everyday.
Great video and views, I was going to film I-70 East but it was nearing rush hour and there were jams in a few spots. The new I-70 will really ease traffic on the Poplar Street Bridge and I saw that the current I-70 thru Downtown will be resigned I-44.
@thomasrosiefan1: Maybe in a fantasty world, yes. :-) However, I doubt you'll find many Californians in support of a freeway going thru pristine Sierra Nevada wilderness.
Last time I drove this it was called "Mac70". So cool to see the Arch just emerge again after all these years.
EVERY TIME I WATCH YOUR VIDEOS THE MUSIC GETS BETTER AND BETTER
MADEON!!!!
Great video. I-70 is an interesting freeway, depressed, elevated and with a reversible. And a nice view of the Saint Louis skyline.
Love the music and skyline
madeon!!!!!
Excellent work, and that is a cool stretch of road to see and drive, 5*
+Freewayjim, No it’s not a Cool stretch of Road. If you want to see a better Stretch of Freeway in the St Louis Metro, check out I-64.

Awesome! Especially the part through the city, under the stack interchange and the railroad bridge!
Great Video!! Great looking skyline!!!!
I've seen that skyline every single day of my life when I lived in Cahokia, and went to school in downtown St Louis...
What's funny is that a good part of this video, if you exit the highway you will find yourself in the middle of the ghetto. Lol
