But I never paid for any information back then or now. I probably just got that from the Wiki or something. When the game's done I'm sure we'll find out whether we keep up with the progress or not.

@@politos73 Well that's the style of DSP's games. Largely story focused with horror elements, gags and then very emotional moments during the serious scenes. From what I remember the original Mogeko Castle didn't even have battles and was more of a horror/puzzle game. There are many of us that enjoy that style but if you just want to play an RPG game then there's probably better options for you. I don't even know why you would be interested in the new game's development if you didn't even enjoy any of the previous ones.
@@pdpgb I like horror puzzle game, Off is one with good story, puzzles and gameplay, MG was good for the puzzles But the other game Feels like it's not a game story, wadanohara have a manga, which fit better than a game in my opinion

H3adHunt3r Aside from knowing that Wadanohara was also another preview in Mogeko Castle or Gray Garden (It's been too long), not much. We don't even know when/if those two other games previewed at the end of Wadanohara are going to be released. At least Mogeko Castle Gaiden had an animated scene, as long as it has been. 'sides, making games with one person alone isn't that easy.

Yeah, Mogeko Castle Gaiden, TGG Remake and Carnival Rythmn all seem to be pretty far in development, but the TGG prequel and sequel, the Wadanohara sequels, End of Wonderland and the other games that DSP planned seem to be dead. Which I can understand, because DSP is only one person working on three games, illustrations, Obsolete Dream, comics and the Wadanohara manga, and that all takes a lot of time. Though I guess the assets from the TGG remake can be reused for the prequel/ sequel, maybe would that make it easier... Ah, now I sound selfish. I hope the remake takes out the unnecessary scene where Ivlis assaults Yosafire. It worked as a twist and a plot point in Wadanohara, it worked in Mogeko Castle as the motivation to escape, it felt forced in TGG. Though, I still feel bad for Ivlis... What a life, huh...
IM DA PINNACLE OF HUMANITEE Well I think it's going to finish the first three games in full and then start doing the following ones. And yes, I also agree that he was unnecessary. I love Ivlis and his gang but seeing him do that makes it hard for me to appreciate him. In wadanohara it worked much better since it gave you a very clear reason to hate the villain, but here it does not work. What I like the most about The Gray Garden is that it is, so to speak, the most "Light" of all the games and parts like that or the one where Poemi eats all of them are a bit that ruin that feeling.
Mauricio Aguilar I feel like DSP should have a break for a bit after finishing the three games, they work a lot. Anyways, Sal and Ivlis had the opposite treatment after their respective first appearances. Most of the art featuring Sal was him getting beat up or being mocked. However, Ivlis was given a tragic backstory (apparently one comic had Siralos say that there was more to Ivlis' banishment than just a disagreement, but that hasn't been elaborated on), he still misses Siralos a lot, he has a creepy abuser who ends up getting a crush on him but still tortures him, and he got a son who has a total Oedipus complex for him. Life for Ivlis is hard. Did you call DSP 'it' lmao

I think the reason it hasn't been released this year is because of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. And since the protagonist in the game is a Russian Mogeko, Deep-Sea Prisoner must have thought it would be better if the game was released when the conflict ended(I got this information from fans who are also waiting for the game sequel).
