    Dear Channel 4 News, can you please explain to us why this story is titled "How hard is the life of a professional ballerina?" when it's talking about the resignation of Sergei Polunin, who is a male dancer? There is anough ignorance out there about male ballet dancers without TV channels making matters even worse. Please change the title to something more appropriate.

    How come all these interviewers focus on the harsh life of the dancers instead of the passion dancers have for dance that get them through the pain?

      I think it's mainly so that people understand how hard ballet is and training and dedication goes into it. Most people underestimate ballet dancers and aren't really aware of how hard this life can be.

    Every other "star" has somehow managed to survive the grueling lifestyle. more power to him I guess. maybe they just never felt as if they COULD challenge it. We shall see what happens with his career.

    Looks like quitting the RBT was the best choice he could have made. Freelancing seems to be going well for him. ;)
