On June 25th, 2023. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a car that had illegal window tints. When the officer spoke to the suspects, he could smell marijuana coming from the car, he asked the woman to step out for further investigation and she became argumentative. The passenger of the car rolled up his window and locked the car door, the main suspect driving the car put the car in drive and sped off. Then just 3 days later, she was seen driving and another traffic stop was conducted. When the initial stopping officer asked her why she sped off, she acted like she didn’t know what he was talking about and said he was lying even though everything was caught on body-cam. This is body-cam footage of the events that followed.

Pleaded guilty to both charges on 1/20/23, sentenced the same day to time served (2 days) and 12 months probation. Picked up again 4/5/23 for probation violation (tested positive for oxy), sentenced to time served (38 days), original probation continued. Picked up again 12/19/23 for probation violation (failed to pay drug testing fees and complete mental health eval), is currently still in Palm Beach jail

Whats worse, she tries to cry wolf to upset them while on the phone. "Why are you slamming me?!" while on the phone with friends or family and knowing they'll hear that, get upset, and storm down to the scene. Now they're pissed off and ready to confront the police. This is how bad things happen.
Cops worry that an unhinged person will show up. As dumb as these peeps are, they would call a person that would harm the cops. Not a backer of the blue, but I understand there concern.

That's the only thing I can think of because at the department I worked at if somebody took off from us we're going to chase you until the wheels come off or until you wrap yourself around a tree. I just read an article that some group in Chicago is now against body cameras. Turns out it doesn't show the epidemic of white police abusing black men, so it does them no good. They 14:13 are using the excuse that the cameras violate the little thugs privacy, and the camera essentially is an infringement of their right to not self incriminate. They don't want the truth available, they want to be able to control the narrative, post edited clips to social media and news stations.

HUGE respect to the Officer for taking the time to calmly explain everything to the family. Also big respect to the family for recognizing the girl was actually at fault and not causing issues about her arrest; hell, they even tried to tell her to cooperate and get in the car.

He was pretty calm, I will give him points for that-
But he’s mainly like that there because , he was trying to gather more information on the other person that was in the car original stop. But he knew he couldn’t make anyone do that. They even turned around and walked back towards him for like 3 feet and officer seemed like he was like about to be sad that they weren’t gonna unsurreptitiously gather more info. (On what as another commenter said, once everyone heard his name they already started walking away cause they know he’s up to some illegal Sh!t!)

That's how more problems start the cops have someone pulled over or are trying to question them and the family members start getting into it that not only makes it harder for the cops to get there questioning done but can make a chaotic scene

Why in the world would you say that? I recently had to record a police interaction, as well as someone else’s police interaction; which I did successfully and respectfully, from a distance far away enough as to in now way intrude upon or hinder any investigation/incident…

Totally agree! There was a lack of assertiveness and control. The offender was more in charge of the situation here than the cops.
Cops do that to maintain credibility and reputation with the community. He was explaining the situation to them so they don't go and tell their friends how their friend was wrongfully arrested. Furthermore, he was talking directly to the owner of the KIA and to the mother of the suspect.
