I got a helix piercing around mid August and my piercer never told me the proper aftercare for it...I used rubber alcohol and was told not to by a friend so I switched to mixing anti bacterial soap and water. I just now discovered this side of TH-cam talking about piercings and I feel enlightened lol. Im getting a conch piercing next week and I’m super excited! Will definitely be referring to your videos to make sure it stays healthy and I break my bad track record with piercings!
I love watching your videos! My rook is healing slower than I'm used to. I may need to switch up my saline wash 🤔 Also, I'm obsessed with your necklace! 🖤🖤🖤
When cleaning the tragus piercing during the first few weeks, is it okay to just do the sea salt soaks? A Q-Tip irritated it way too much so I don’t feel like I can use it just yet. I just don’t know if that’s okay.
I got my forward helix 2 days ago and it’s bleeding a lot. I got it with a curved barbell which I’ve never seen before so maybe that has something to do ?
Can you send the saline water you make yourself for later? Like maybe take it with you if your traveling? I got my first conch piercing and I love it but im freaked about traveling with it
I have made my own before and stored it in one of those TSA approved clear containers. When I travel, I make sure to pack a small container of the solution and some q-tips.
my piercer recommended i buy a big jug of distilled water and put the proper amount of salt then u have already mixed up salt water ready to go just warm it in the microwave
Great video! I currently have two infection since I changed both of my piercings 😢. Will it be ok to save and re-use your saline water after you make it? If so, to warm up the water, can I microwave it? Thank you
I microwave my water. Also, if you don’t want to mix up the solution every time you can get a gallon of distilled water and add 4 teaspoons to it and shake it up. There you have your solution ready to go and it’s ready to pour into a glass! Hope this helps you.
To answer your question about reusing the water, I wouldn’t. It’s not sanitary and wouldn’t be effective in cleaning it anymore. It would spread more bacteria onto your piercing site.

Do you ever think that a piercing can be too far gone and just take it out ? Or can an infected piercing be saved no matter what?
Can using the antiseptic spray & steriliser help treat bumps? The sprays were given to me when I got my piercing done
Can you use this on a tongue piercing?

I’ve always wondered why people say forward helixes shouldn’t be pierced with a curved barbell.. it seems harmless but i’ve heard many criticisms
Erika Nirenberg I don’t see why it’s a problem but maybe it has something to do with my bleeding a lot
Ariadna Santiago If the jewelry is smaller than the needle they used to pierce it, it will bleed a more because the hole is bigger than the jewelry.
How would you do this with tongue piercing?
you wanna get an oral piercing care specific mouth wash
