I know it’s almost a trope to say it, but Nada Surf doesn’t get enough credit for just how great their song writing is.

Still my favorite band. My partner passed away in 2021...our mutual favorite record of all-time is Let Go. It's taken me a long time to heal and live for her in her stead...but this made me cry. So good. Shannon would have loved this.

M and I speak often on how Nada has been there through multiple points in time, defining a moment, connecting our shared threads, and anchoring our hearts to memories and people we were or currently are. Nada Surf has been with me all along this ever winding road from adolescence to fatherhood. Through joys and heart breaks. This band still somehow finds a way to make me feel like that young man just trying to find his way and really I still am still trying to find my way. This song reminds me to slow down and enjoy these fleeting blessings all around me sometimes the journey is the destination.
I love the chords, the lyrics, the video, the permanent 2003-05 sound Nada Surf has never gotten rid of... What an important message to share with everyone. MINDFULNESS. It reminds me of the wonderful, never-played-live, never remembered, always-hidden 'End Credits'.
I love this “used to be/could have been” device that leads to the wonderful chorus. I love the urgent vocal and the roar of The Rock. This is awesome. Thank you for another killer.

i imagine a lot of people my age first heard of nada surf because of 'popular' being on mtv. and i loved the rest of the album so much i followed them and still follow them. they have been consistently putting out great records the entire time. incredible band.
So good! This band just gets better with age.... Like a fine red wine. This will be put on my Summer 2024 playlist.... Let's hope for a tour and a stop in Portland, OR.

Clean power pop sound of this band is dynamite.
It’s interesting and I mean this in the most positive sincerest way possible… In someway, the song reminds me of Joni Mitchell’s looking at life from both sides now don’t ask me why, but that song from her came to mind as I was listening to this and I mean that as a compliment by the way.
