My gran was the first in my family to use a computer, in 1988. She wrote a text book on an Apple Macintosh. She was 50 years old at that time. She still the technically advanced one, even today.
Emily Yukki: Of course, she has openly talked about it... my point was it is natural looking and not "pulled" like many other famous people. She looks refreshed. I hope she doesn't get much more though or she may head that way.
I work at a technology store. This is what I deal with almost every other day. And the best part is half of the people who come in aren't old, they're like 30-50 living under a rock or something
With that attitude, perhaps you're in the wrong profession? Imagine the people who come in to the place you work and think, "Oh, look at what I have to deal with, an impatient know-it-all."
@@scotsam7590 - alright calm the feck down. At work I gave all the patience I have to those who did not know. When i wasn’t at work that steam had to be let off somewhere and it was let off on this funny arse video yet relatable video. It was only sharing a relatable experience to other viewers. I, in no way shape or form, would ever *DARE* be arrogant to customers or people in need because I also know some day I will be a person in need and would like help. It should give to think, that even People in that Age (30 - 50) sometimes are unable to solve technically Problems with their PC' s and Laptops. Maybe the Producer develope it too difficult and complicate to use. 🙄🤔
They DO. They use jargon ("use the touchpad" without first indicating where it is) And then they develop these things in closed groups, without testing it on users...the blind leading the blind...
Funny how "old people" get that kind of constant derision. Old people were the young ones at the dawn of personal computing. Any of you " kiddie computer whizzes" remember DOS commands? Huh? Didn't think so.
Then why did none of them fucking learn how to use them? It's seemingly only boomers that have a total aversion to them and thinks it's endearing to not know how to use one, despite the family begging them to learn.
Jane, Lily, Sam and Martin have all reached over their 80's. Better to cancel when the main cast is still healthy and alive. The show will not be the same if one of them disappeared.
Hello, I work for Texas Woman's University in the Disability Services for Students office. One of our professors is using the following video as a part of their curriculum. Can you either upload accurate captions to this video to make them accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people viewing the video, or will you give me permission to caption the video so that we can get this video captioned before the start of the fall semester? We are not able to use the auto-generated captions as they are not ADA-compliant. Thank you
Thank you for this Text. I'm still able to hear, but I use the Subtitles for better Understanding. So I see many Times the different between what they say and what I read in the Subtitle. Per Example: Frankie say "blue" but in the Subtitle is to read "red". (only a random Example, not from this short Video). I don't know, why they do this. Do they think, that deaf or bad hearing People are silly? 🤔 Or we wouldn't note this Differents?
Season 1. But I just don't know, which Episode. Maybe 4. or 5. ? That's, where Frankie and Sol watch this Spell-Things in TV and Robert become jealous, because Sol have Time with Frankie.
What you'll also find is a disconnect between a boomer's spoken desire and their actual desire to learn how to use technology. It is a mix of entitlement on the boomer's part and technology itself becoming weirder/more hostile (like air travel after 9/11) and more dangerous, much more the latter in my opinion.
I would love to have Lily's problem with computers but Best Buy has a glitchy website that 5 times have cancelled my order for a Macbook Air M1. I was told their website doesn't like my mastercard ! HUH ? Sales ppl think if you are old you must be stupid. Guess what ? NOT !

" do it again so I can watch you lmfao"
Every grandma out there 😊
Step by step
Jane Fonda still looks glamorous just like she did back in the 60s.
She's still gorgeous and whoever did her "improvements" did a great job... she looks much younger than she is but very natural.

Those are some mighty fine ladies.
These two are pure gold. ,^_^
i love jane fonda but that hair would take a team of stylists!! 😄
What does it want now.
Its asking you to put in a name and a password.
What should i put
Your name and a password. XD
Frankie is just like my Mom when it comes to computers...😂
I'm going to keep on watching!
This is a great show

Frankie is so funny.
If you watched 9 to 5, there's some role reversal here. Jane Fonda's character is training Lily Tomlin's character this time.
Idk why they have to make it so hard!
