That's actually a good question from what I heard there is a little bit of a wiring harness difference which might be inside of our console area hidden but other than that you might just be better off going with an aftermarket set up
question I have a 2010 Ford Fusion sel, I purchased a SEICAN 10.1 inch 2009-2012 Ford Mondeo Fusion Android 11.0 GPS Navigation Radio Bluetooth HD Touchscreen AUX USB Music Carplay support 1080P Video Mirror Link #80081442. I have everything hooked up correctly and the unit works but without sound. The unit did not come with a cable to connect the cars 4 pin female to the amp wire the unit came with. will the wire harness that you showed fix this issue?
Well thank you for checking out the video I really do appreciate it. Honestly from my experience would I would first do is take your audio wires and burn them with the lighter because the lotto X audio wires will have a microscopic film on the copper part of the wire even after you pull back the main part of the wire and that will sometimes cause sound not to pass through. If that did not work then second I would try then yes using the harness shown. Simply because I wouldn't want you to have to spend any money if not needed.
Question for you. I tried installing my new double din JVC today. Followed all the directions and wired the harness. There was a coaxial cable plugged into the Ford radio. I believe this is serious xm. There is no place to plug it into my JVC double din and with everything else plugged in, the radio doesn't turn on. Do I need this serious xm antenna? Does it supply power or did I maybe wire something wrong? I appreciate any advice. My car is tore up from the floor up. Plus I've been laughed at because my family apparently don't believe that women can do these things. Please please please help me prove them Dbags wrong lol.
Lolol. No worries. Glad to help try and prove them wrong. I don't have the XM radio hooked up. I have the steering wheel adapter aswell. Let me try and look . I believe it's all connected though the adapter.
There are two type of adapters for aftermarket there is the type that just is a direct semi plug-and-play or you still have to thread the wires to the aftermarket wire that come with the stereo and then you plug it directly into the chassis given by Ford. Or there's the other wire harness that involves the steering wheel components and you will need to buy that. I believe that is in my other video
I actually no longer have it installed I found the wood grain option and installed a double DIN into that so it's an oem wood grain look with the double DIN inserted. But I do believe I might have pictures or a video of when I did install the conversion kit before I switched it back if I do I will try to put it up and tagged you as soon as possible
Yes that could be possible considering that mine stays on as well even after putting a After market stereo. So yes it will display Ford Fusion even if the factory stereo is not installed you might want to check those fuses
Hey what's up Isreal, I'm having some complications with installing my radio in my 11 fusion, there is a harness slot I have no idea what it's meant for. It's at the back of the factory radio to the left. And you didnt buy a harness for that slot only the fat slot you bought a harness for. If possible can you make a full detailed video of all the this needed to do. The radio model# for my vehicle is BE5T-19C157-AA did you also have the same?
Actually depending on your model if its the SeL it might be the phone Jack if it's just an SE then it might be something for a different conversion or if you have a sport it might be extra audio

I know I'm a bit late to the video but I have a 2010 ford fusion and I have the after market raido with the plastic peace but I'm stuck on the wiring harness where can I find one that keeps the wheel buttons?
No worries brother better late than never actually the best one I found is actually at Walmart but you can find it as well on Amazon you just have to do the wiring correctly especially if you have the backup camera.
Hey brother sorry to get back at you so late I actually got mine at the local audio place but Walmart actually carries the full conversion kit if you want to also add the Steering Wheel volume adjustment

Yes that could be possible considering that mine stays on as well even after putting a After market stereo. So yes it will display Ford Fusion even if the factory stereo is not installed you might want to check those fuses

Best buy for 52.99 2010 ford fusion requires the data wire harness, standard speed harness will not work
