Lighting a track is a sophisticated thing- you can't just put light poles down and race. There's are issues with glare, reflections, etc. Charlotte's lighting system cost $1.5 million and uses a special mirroring system. Not to mention the backup systems the lights have to have to be able to get the cars back around to pit road. I'd imagine that would be a huge project for Talladega.
@@anokisakura they did it to Daytona, plus I've been to many rained out Talladega races; have races on Saturday with the option to finish on Sunday or light the beeyotch.
@@BogattheMoon they did it back at daytona back when nascar was booming and selling out each race. It's unlikely we'll see dega do it nowadays, I doubt they have a few million just laying around like most tracks used to.
I don't think we had time...The race yesterday started at 4:30PM EST and ended due to darkness at 6:00. And the Xfinity race was a 300 mile race today was 500.

They tried with Austin Dillon on Michigan but the car has crashed,they deleted the live and el they put the Harvick onboard

it would cost 51 million for talladega and because it’s a small area it would have constant outages because of how much power is needed
