I LOVE how you always seem to show the next month so early in the present month! It allows us time to think about and work on our own spreads. Seeing an April spread on March 31 just doesn’t work for so many of us. Really appreciate the timing!
Ohhh, Erin, it was just a fun video after a tiring week on a Friday evening!!!! LOVE the music, listened to it a few times, and Pirates of the Caribbean, for sure! Greetings to you!!!!
Oh this is an amazing set up, I love how it's piratey without being all in your face with it. I think my favourite pirate movie has to be The Last Pirate, it's obscure but so worth watching. :)
Lovely set up! My favorite pirate movie is Hook! Fun info: I used to think rum was probably really delicious and kind of sweet because Jack Sparrow loved it until I tried it and realized I didn’t like it and it didn’t taste like a treat 😂
Hook is SO good! I feel you Antz - I can get behind something like a coconut rum, but most of the time I like cocktails better without any alcohol in them at all 🤣 so really I’m ok if the rum is gone!
This was so fun!!! I love it!! The more brown tones were right up my alley, and the mood tracker was creative. The giveaway journal was such a great idea. I love seeing the more collagey style setups while still getting to enjoy a more art focused style in your personal journal.
Thanks Leah! It’s been really nice having one video already pre-shot each month too, as much as it was a crunch to get the giveaway journal set up done in a month, it’s helping me out a lot now! 😍 and I LOVED the brown tones for this one, I wonder if you’re rubbing off on me 😉
Blown away by your talent and how fun you made this look. Would love to be able to create beautiful journals. Thank you for the details included, the music, and the inspiration ❤ PS: Favorite pirate movie: Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love the ride in Disney World 😊
The way you did the mood tracker was such a interesting idea. I really liked how you did this theme overall though. The burned maps and the jewel tape you used for the borders were my favorites. I actually just finished a book with pirates in it not that long ago so I'm in the pirate mood. 🏴☠ To be honest Pirates of the Caribbean is the only pirate movie I can think of right now, but I adore it so that's okay. 🥰
I love this setup! You also used a lot of 'my' washi tapes 😂 My favourite movie with a pirate is 'The Princess Bride' (Dread Pirate Roberts) and StarDust is a close second
Pirates!!!!! I love the vibe of this setup and it definitely put me in the mood for a pirate movie night. I have so many favorites but the top of the list has to be Muppet Treasure Island. Tim Curry as Long John Silver is just... *chef's kiss*
Oh I love this! I love pirates, in the romantic storybook sense. I have those papers as well and had been wanting to do a map so I’m so excited to try a layout like this. I would love a printable! Thanks
I totally agree! I bought it in an airport bookstore probably 12 years ago and somehow never did read it 🤣 I’ll pop it on my Reading Forecast for April!
Such a fun theme! I have those same bottle papers and this definitely gave me more ideas for how to use them. I had them in my February this year as my habit tracker (drew a calendar into some of the biggest ones), they're so pretty. Favourite movie with a pirate will always be Princess Bride 🏴☠👑
This looks so amazing! I would like to do a pirate theme 🏴☠️ myself, but I don’t have the stationary… referring to your question about pirate movies I have to admit I know only The pirates of the Caribbean. So who can give me some more suggestions ☺️
I had actually stopped tracking sleep and mood because I just didn't really use the information and I needed to shorten bujo set up time buuuut . . . your vidoe has inspired me to track energy levels (which have been fluctuating lately) so I may set up an energy tracker and a sleep tracker to see if they correlate. THanks for the alternate idea of a vintage nautical theme which is great. I appreciate your understanding of those who may want to avoid the piracy theme. I had enjoyed the "Pirates of the Carribean" movies as well but I have now moved to a place where I can no longer romanticize piracy, as fun as it may be. Thank you for your lovely designes. I enjoy your channel.
Ohh the theme is amazing!! The winner must be very happy with it :D You are one of the reasons I dared to really start my journaling journey, thank you for all your inspirations!
I don't watch much pirate media, so my answer is a little out of the box here: The Pirate Fairy (it is a Tinkerbell film 😅). This is a really cool setup and inspiring me to think about my April reading journal spreads 🏴☠⚓⛴
i live in america but also start my weeks with mondays because the work and school week reset on monday, im a university student and fulltime manager and have way too much to keep track of lol
Dear Erin, I just love that theme . The black and white scrolls/books etc from journalsay are actually very thin washi paper stickers on backing paper. They stick in their own but are very transparent. Unfortunately, they have been sold out for months... I have used mine up and am on the lookout for them for quite a time now.
Oh I can’t believe I didn’t realise that 🤣 they went to live with the winner of this journal so I don’t have them anymore either. I hope they come back into stock soon!
This is such a fun theme! The treasure map mood tracker is just the best thing as well, I don't use a mood tracker, but I'm wondering how else I could use it, maybe in my reading journal for pages read, or something like that. Those map papers are great, I bought that set from Journalsay as well and have used them in a dark academia theme last year as well as a book club spread based on reading around the world. As for favourite movie with pirates it's probably Hook, I was obsessed when I was younger!
Great idea for the weekly to have only 4 rectangles divided by the décorations! Less counting and in my case having to withe out one that I always draw one dot to long/wide 😅. Thank you, I will not have to rack my brain on what to do for April!
When I saw this one I thought….hmmm….that looks different for Erin…I had forgotten about the giveaway journal! I am loving watching both. It’s so great to see you doing different things you may not use yourself - lots of kspreadspiration’ and play around with different themes. Music was so fun too.
Favorite movie with a pirate. An old one... Captain Blood with Errol Flynn. Or perhaps The Pirates of Penzance with Kevin Kline as the pirate king. Or... The Pirate only because of Gene Kelly dancing in tight shorts. And of course I love Captain Jack. Guess I like pirate movies, huh? 😁
I love this! I know that you like flowers and fairies and things like that; but it's been a blast watching you do this. It's so different from your usual. Good job!
Stop making such beautiful pages! I love it. I absolutely get lost watching how you can put this together. I have no creativity and I’m just amazed to watch you just bring it all together. Mine would look like a hot mess!
This was so creative! I wasn’t sure I’d like the theme but it’s such fun! I’m not really a pirate move girl. How long do these usually take to set up? A few hours? Such a fun journal!
Thanks Jeanne! These collage/scrapbook style layouts are pretty speedy - I’d say around two hours? I’ve been using a lot of paint in my own journal lately though and that definitely takes a bit longer!
❤🏴☠🎥?
I LOVE how you always seem to show the next month so early in the present month! It allows us time to think about and work on our own spreads. Seeing an April spread on March 31 just doesn’t work for so many of us. Really appreciate the timing!
That’s exactly what I hope to achieve - I’m so glad it’s helpful for you! 🥰

I love that you added pirate music over this 😂
I really love a theme 🤣

Love it. You do amazing at these. I’m not as talented.

Tim Curry in everything, ever but YES especially this!! 😍😍
Pirates of the Caribbean , Hook and of course Treasure Planet
Solid choices Marie! 😍
Really loved this theme! So fun!
Very beautiful Erin! 👏👏👏

This is one of my favorites ever! SO SO SO much fun.
You should read Stardust! It’s such a lovely novel ❤
I totally agree! I bought it in an airport bookstore probably 12 years ago and somehow never did read it 🤣 I’ll pop it on my Reading Forecast for April!

Thanks for attempting a pirates theme. It is hard to find good stickers and such lol! I love potc dead man’s chest
i live in america but also start my weeks with mondays because the work and school week reset on monday, im a university student and fulltime manager and have way too much to keep track of lol
Amazing designs Erin!

the pirate movie, a retelling of the Pirates of Penzance
I love this theme, and the music too. Mt favourite pirate film is an oldie called 'Ice Pirates'
Mood tracker is amazing 😍 printable is a great idea ❤ love the theme 😊
I’m loving the Simplified OS! I find it suits me more. 😊
Hi! I loved this and it inspired me to do a similar theme for The Goonies maybe
I really like this set up. Will come in handy this year
Great spread! Loved the music too.
Pirates of the Caribbean or The Goonies!
I love pirates of Caribbean
The music is a lovely with the theme. Your body of work is amazing. I like the way you explain what you are doing and why!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Wow! I love it
I love HooK

Oh that’s a great idea to adapt it Kelly! I’d love to see, if you do! 🏴☠️⚓️🥰
What a fun theme and love your decorations. Enjoyed the background music in this one. Favorite movie with pirates is Hook I think.
Hook is such a wonderful film! 😍
Great idea for the weekly to have only 4 rectangles divided by the décorations! Less counting and in my case having to withe out one that I always draw one dot to long/wide 😅. Thank you, I will not have to rack my brain on what to do for April!
It’s so convenient 😍 love a lazy journal hack!
Love the Musings section!! Background music was great, a fun theme!
Thanks Carla! I had such a good time making this 🥰
to not ro sorry x
Stardust deserves more hype. It's such a good movie and it's so funny!
Right?! It’s such a great adventure! 😍
A fun theme. You can just color in the pirate ship if you don't like B&W.
Thank you so much! 🥰 I thought about it, but I figured I’d leave that up to the winner to colour in if they wanted!

Pirate movies are the best! 😍 according to family legend, I’m apparently distantly related to Errol Flynn.
@@ErinSmith that's so cool. :)
This looks so awesome Erin. I'm not really a piratey person, but I can appreciate the aesthetic.
Thanks Jen! I really like how this one came together, it’s like Pirate Lite haha
I love this! I know that you like flowers and fairies and things like that; but it's been a blast watching you do this. It's so different from your usual. Good job!

My favorite movie with a pirate in it is Princess Bride!
The Dread Pirate Roberts! Such a wonderful movie!
My favourite theme so far! Love Love Love. And Pirates of the Caribbean is my favourite pirate movie/movies ❤
This whole set up looks amazing. I just love that mood tracker. What a great idea!
This was so creative! I wasn’t sure I’d like the theme but it’s such fun! I’m not really a pirate move girl. How long do these usually take to set up? A few hours? Such a fun journal!

They turn out so beautifully! Time well spent!
The Pirate movie hands down. It’s an 80s musical take on the pirates of penzance
You are so talented! I would never have thought to do a pirate theme but WOW, it was so cute. 😀
Great setup! Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite Pirate movie.
This pirate explorer vibe is *everything* some of my favorite movies! This would also be really fun for a D&D or Pathfinder character journal...
YES! I can picture them being perfect for a D&D journal 😍
Would love to win this .
Rufio! Rufio!
Have to fly! Have to fight! Have to crow!
Pirates of the Caribbean! Gotta love Johnny Depp.
He's a rapist.
But why is all the rum gone?
I blame Elizabeth 🤣
