It's tricky .. First you adjust your low speed idle screw to 2 1/2 open and push the gove closed to get it to idle and adjust a bit at a time till it idles good .. Then you adjust the High speed needle out 3 turns from seated .. work it in a bit at a time with the engine under a load ! hope you get it running good .. I sold mine but it was a great generator .. Thanks !!
Hi I watched all of your onan videos I'm working on the same thing minus mine isn't the emerald model... Question what kind of spark plugs did you use and what was the gap.. what is the model number of that K&N filter.. the funny thing is I work for K&N
Thanks for the video. I tested everything on my gen that I could think of. Turned out to be the points. I have been driving these newer cars for so long that I forgot how when I was young that every year I had to clean the points on my old 66 pickup. Must be getting old. Point is that -- Dirty points. Doh!!!!! Runs great now.
Any chance you know where the correct breaker is? Ours runs but for some reason the microwave isn’t working this year with the gen otherwise it works plugged in.

where do you hook the positive from battery to gentset on 5.0 cck-3cr ser.f760 140249 1775 maybe
What are the valves set at? Intake and exhaust.

getting ready to start on my onan and I just love how all the damn wires are green lol somebody robbed the coil off it so I got to figure it out

I think they are for the fuel pump . One is for the pump to run During startup and the other is after startup .. Thanks!

These don't have a voltage regulator ..They work off of the RPM of the engine . Non regulated power .. Thanks !!

I use it to weld and also we use 2 cords and it runs the living room and kitchen and the down stairs great !
