Spending over 400 Million Dollars to buy an arena so you can pay Over 2 Billion more dollars to build a brand new arena next to said arena, all privately financed puts Ballmer's wealth into perspective.
these videos are so well done, i’m surprised this channel is as small as it is. i expected a few hundred thousand or even close to a million subs when i first came across it
Amen. I'll give them all the tax breaks and help pay for their stadiums if they stay the f out of politics... oh, and their personal fair share of taxes of course (doubtful)
I love San Diego to pieces. But between both the Clippers and the Chargers "ditching while the ditching was good," methinks that the metroplex is better suited to _playing_ sports rather than _watching_ them.
Crypto is owned by the LA Kings. The Lakers rent. Intuit was built exclusively for basketball (and concerts). The floor space is only large enough for a basketball court - a hockey rink is 4x larger - allowing the seats to be much closer to the court. Seats on the 20th row are 40 feet closer than at Crypto.
Complete waste of money The reason only why he built is because he didn't want to give his money in taxes to the government and wanted to help his friends also write off their investments as shadowed losses into this thing so they wouldn't have to pay taxes either

A billionaire who spends money on basketball players instead of politicians

@ The thing is Balmer paid for the arena with his own money, he didn’t threaten to move the team if they don’t pony up the cash for the arena
@@e.solano3963Yes, but no giving away public tax dollars to a freaking billionaire for any reason.
@@sdeepjExactly, as it should be.
@@sdeepjsay it again for those who can’t process information properly
Dude i love this channel so much… remember me when you go popular because if you keep this up i know you’ll get there !
Love the billionaire’s enthusiasm for the extras toilets! 😂 Nice update video!
$70 FOR PARKING!!!??
California is unlivable.
Shout out to John Kay, who followed the construction of SoFi and Intuit Dome from the shovel to the last screw.👏👏
The clippers leaving San Diego never paid off.
I love San Diego to pieces.

Yeah its a really nice arena tobad it will never see a championship :) now waiting for the Chargers to get their own stadium.
Both San Diego rejects.
Listen I’m a Lakers fan but I’ve always admired Balmer, his decision to purchase The Forum was such a chad move lmao.
It was hilarious how Ballmer completely outmanuevered Jeannie Buss and James Dolan.....both awful owners.
Great video
Bro, why wouldn’t you go to Golden one center in Sacramento it’s infinitely better
They playing real-life monopoly
Socks to bed=best sleep possible 🟥🟧🟧🟪🟩🟧🟧🟨🟪
Will this place host LA KING in case anything happens
Ballmer has already said this wouldn't happen. Strictly basketball and concert venue.
