I know I'm in the minority with saying that Drama is one of my all time favorite YES albums. But that album to me is just an absolute masterpiece. Such a great work of art. I truly love it so much. Very good updates Steve.👍🍺

I'm totally with you...I loved everything they released in the 70s, and just about everything from the 80s. They fell of for me in the 90s, but their last album from a couple of year ago was killer.

I owned Waiting For Columbus as a double cd for about twenty years before i bought the 2-LP. It adds all the rest of the songs they played on that tour. It's great although it does have a long version of A Day At The Dog Races which i do like as studio version, but the long live version is not easy to take.
I first really got into Gary Moore through the live version of Back On The Streets from We Want Moore. Blew me away.
I have that Rory Gallagher, i do think it's very good, but the mix is missing the piano. My guess is that the mic recording the piano didn't work so you are only able to hear it bleeding through somebody else's mic. Only on the piano solo have they done the remix and brought the piano on top. That's why i recommend Irish Tour '74 as better option.

Irish Tour is definitely a favorite. I didn't notice the piano, but that's not really what I'm listening for, haha.

You going to the outlaws show in December?!

No, I've actually never gotten into the Outlaws. I think I had one of their albums at one point, but don't remember it.

Some nice pick-ups; the pixies and the breeders renewed my interest in rock music at the time. I’d kinda lost faith in the genre ability to produce anything new, creative and still catchy and fun. There is another band from the pixies camp worth checking out. The Amps.

I know of The Amps, but don't think I've ever run across their albums, but I dig just about everything that Kim Deal does. I loved The Breeders as well. I haven't heard their last few albums, but I've heard nothing but good things.

Agree. Unfortunately, the Pixies were just not the same without deal. Good but not great. As for the Amps, I don't believe there was a vinyl version. As far as the Breeders, I've got my eye on a European first pressing of Last Splash. A real grail form me. It's one of the best (and most important) albums of the 90s. imo. And the debut, Pod is very good too. @@harmlessrebel868
