My experience push all the hands of the clock to 12 o'clock including the sweep hand.. then put the battery in... then wind the clock to the time you wish.

On our print templates for clocks you will find some various dials in the layers of the document.
You said don't mirror?
Yes, you press the motif on the back side of the glass and therefor the motif mustn't be mirrored.
I know it's said MIRROR the image for most. As a glass thing it shows on the other side. Don't mirror on this occasion for glass.
