5:01 Gotta love that attention to detail. Not only does the kongs show electrocuted sprites when the lightning hits them, but it also electrocutes the life icon.
@@xXBlueSheepXx That's also why The life icon gets darker or lighter while you select a character (because dixie does too) and why it dims so much in the floodlight fish level. Regardless, it could be seen as a happy accident.
@@yellowlemonPenguin I think it is a happy accident due to how tied the life icon colors are to Dixie's current colors. Did Diddy's life icon in DKC 2 turned purple when you got the reverse controls debuff during the K.Rool fight? I forgot.
Fully convinced that the dk snes series was a survival horror, some of these scenarios are straight out scary, thunder strikes, blizzards, giant bee hives.
So, now that you’ve done all three games(for the most part)...any chance on a GBA DKC 3 uncompressed? :D Realistically, though, I think those songs are so great that they deserve to be heard in their full glory. Would it be too difficult?
@@Mehembrane Why do you say that? Surely, just like the SNES version, it would have been made with synthesizers that were available at the time, and maybe some samples. If you can track them down for the original, why not the GBA versions?
Wow! Very nice on this, big fan of your work. Any plans to do the same for the GBA soundtrack? The GBA version of this track in particular is real good too.
I don’t like these restorations for the most part, even then I respect whoever likes them, however, the fact that they are the first (and mostly the only) versions I find when searching DKC music extensions just infuriates me. How do I even specify to TH-cam that I want the original SNES tracks extended? Not the restored versions, not the short single loop ones, and not the GBA versions for DKC3.
How the song doesn't fit: its a forest with a tropical theme!?
How it does: EVERYTHING ELSE!!!!!
Damn good work!
The only sin of this song is that it's only played twice in the whole game.
Regardless, this restoration is amazing!
and only one of those levels wasn't filled with dread and urgency.
@@yellowlemonPenguin [insert a thunderstorm sound effect]
@@yellowlemonPenguin What about the snapping fish that followed you anywhere you went in the water in the other level?
3 times
You have a place in the throne room of heaven

Wow 5:02
Looks more like a glitch
Dixie and the icon use the same color palette so they both flash.

Took me a lot of try’s to beat this level
Holy heck this is intensely restored i just heard the original
This is incredible! I played this as a rainstorm was on!
There's nothing like playing a game, listening to music, or watching a movie with rain pattering on the roof 👌
gives off hella diddy kong racing vibes, they're both rare so it makes sense.
Thanks for your truly effort on this project!
Regards from Peru 🇵🇪.
It's a wonderful arrangement.
This is a beautifully done remaster. It sounds even better than the original!
Gracias J. S. Miller por esta aportación musical incondicional para los fans de DKC saga, me gusta tu trabajo
Been waiting for this one
This is the World Cup main theme !!!
sounds much better now, epic

Thank you for all the good work you do.
Awesome work Sam!

I love the synch at 6:41
This Is truly rocking while listening to this one your boat too!
Joey Margolian posted a comment, Yoda has
Is it just me or does the thunderbolts match one of the drums?

You restore lots of music from Donkey Kong country 3 all accept the factory music ( nuts and bolts) keep up the good work!👍

Nice
more dkc3 soundtracks please!? 🙏😇
Good music but difficult level. It's hard to get through it without getting electrocuted.
Porfavor podrias restaurar tambien las versiones de gba
Do you have any plans to remaster the GBA soundtrack for DKC3?
He isn't sadly :(
@@Ze33roX You can't remaster that soundtrack unless you resequence it note for note.
Where do you get your artwork from?!
Dkc-atlas

th-cam.com/video/v9_hUb9rv_A/w-d-xo.html only 7 minutes but it's something. I'll upload an extended original version soon
