I've read all the 5 books and i actually love the series bc it's real, it's not a simple story of two falling in love, something comes in the way they break up, fix it and then get back toghether, their story has all these elenents too but it actually shows the complications that come in a relationship and the lovers are willing to fight it all through, despite their demons and toxicity esp Hardin, they fight and make up over and over which is a real thing and ultimately drag others into their dramas and after months they finally face it and take real time apart and it worked since in the span of some years they see eachother like 5 times and are finally able to work it and truly be toghether so despite the rollercoaster that is the book i loved it and even learned some things from it

Okay....this is a great love story with sweet ending and all, but my problem with these types of stories are, why the hell do writers introduces an additional boyfriend at the start and makes the character insignificant throughout the story

Before watching I thought maybe Noah ( her Bf) must have mistreated her or betrayed her on her back and that's why she decided to move on with some other guy whom she bearly knows.... Who was not even ready to accept her and be in a relationship with her... But she just followed him and ignored what she had and in the end even he couldn't be with her... I am very disappointed with this movie. And that's not the end even after she left Noah later again she felt some feelings for another guy while she was away from Hardin... Ridiculous👿👎

Tbh the only reason I kinda like this movie is because it takes place in college... I'm kinda sick of seeing teenagers oversexualized, even if it's adults playing them and it's targeted for teens, that doesn't mean only teens watch it and get ideas... and it's also kinda odd, most teenagers I've met (and I should know since I am one) are not nearly as sexually active as movies and shows potray... although my cousin who's in college says the 'high schoolers' they portray on TV are much more like college students/young adults

Thankfully I never read such books. In the hindsight it is so skewed. If we see here, the girl Tessa is a very complex character, narcissistic character and so is that Hardin. Noah who loved her was treated like some garbage. His feelings went unnoticed but, the girl's feelings were proved in the drama to be true, genuine and was appreciated.
I believe such dramas just reinforce the narcissistic personality among girls and skew a natural value system
