  • In this video I see what happens when I let 1 giant monster neodymium magnet collide with 1,000 tiny neodymium magnets! Then I test what happens when I try to hold them in my hand next to the giant neodymium magnet!

and they want us to believe that a force like that cannot be used for a "free energy" generator (that isn't free and doesn't violate any physic law, just use and consume energy stored in magnets with an efficency close to 100%)

Alignment! I've contended that gravity is the basis of everything and that spin alignment is what gives us magnetism. If so - like in this example where the non-aligned magnets decrease the magnetic effect - I argue that particles spinning in different orientations to each other cancel the effect of gravity; with the residue being what we experience. Ergo small areas of gravitational alignment are magnetism. If we could somehow unspin all matter (not possible due to pressure) then this 'supergravity' would be felt. There is no reason to have multiple forces if we recognise that they all stem from one single force (this supergravity).

Nice that there was answer in the end since I saw what two big magnets do to each other and was surprised to see that hand is fine with little ones, didn't account for fields' direction

Great! Had some good laughs! But for a sec I had a horrible vision of a few loose tiny magnets being pulled slowly but inexorably right through your hand...

Awesome! Good choice on the tiny magnet's being different colors, must be some tough paint. I figured the abbrassive interaction between them and the big one would of made a confetti design on your demonstration table.

@ The Action Lab: When you say "the opposite pole is pointing away from the magnet" at 3:23 that's not correct. If the pole of the larger magnet is North then by saying the opposite pole is pointing away from the magnet that means south is pointing away. So when you bring it closer it should connect (attract) not push away (repel). It should be said the same pole is pointing away from the magnet. To the untrained eye this is not good, but to the trained eye I know what you meant to say .... Just a thought and a suggestion for you and the viewers. Feel free to try what I taught yourself. :)

Dude he just made a mistake in what he said. He probably knows that a magnet only repels if it is the same pole 🤦‍♂️

It’s like the magnets met the big magnet, thinking it was their long-lost brother praseodymium, and hugged it.

no, magnetic fields are not radially symmetric like gravitational fields.

I like how you can see spaghettification at play here.
The balls closer to the large magnet are pulled so strongly in comparison to the ones further away that they get pulled ahead of them more and more.

Question / Suggestion: are you familiar with the photography technique called “painting with light”? Basically you set your aperture wide open and set the time basically as long as you want. Then with the ambient light off, you use a point light source to “Draw”. I’m sure you know this. Anyhow, perhaps you could do that with the massive neodymium magnets and those tiny ones. Somehow attach a bright LED point light and move that “snake” around the large magnet. Basically outlining or tracing the magnet field lines. Like you can do with iron fillings and a bar magnet. Just a thought
