Bhagwanti Navani, aka, the Sindhi koel, has been one of the many Sindhi artists I continue to be in awe of! Her work is the legacy she has left behind. And on her 33rd death anniversary today, we wanted to make a tribute video for her where we briefly introduce her to you, in case you didn't know about her already. What a lovely piece of work, watching your video with my mom who is 70 years old. We really enjoyed listening to you.
My mom used to play late Bhagwanti's Sukhmani Sahib when I was young and I now after many decades proactively play her songs on youtube - her singing is blissful. I regret that I don't speak fluent Sindhi (I can barely utter few sentences), we've a beautiful heritage and you're doing great service by preserving it.

bhagwanti 'n my self was very close along with Gobind mali he was our guru to me for drama singing was her portfolio raj loved her smile he used to say her smile is so sweet that can put on Sindhi kokee 'n gulp it she had million dollars worth smile days she was with us in her last days her last wish was to hv one programme in London which raj fulfilled her wish they were staying with us six of them, musicians, as well we were just one family we met her after yrs but those six days R still with us like a treasure our bond ws too thick who knew this is a lasr light before its death she sat all night forcing us to record the v.d all of us were sleepy but she wouldn't stop ,said "who knows these days will come again " as if she knew it already .......
