Who's a greater athlete than LeBron James? Michael Phelps maybe? Serena Williams maybe? Simone Biles Maybe? Jesse Owens Maybe? Eddie Merckx maybe? Pele maybe?
It's a short list. Athleticism is about strength speed and endurance.
Tom Brady is the greatest at what he does BUT he is NOT a great athlete. The greatest athletes in football are the offensive and defensive lineman because of what they do @300+lbs
You really think Brady and Mahommes are better ATHLETES than Aaron Donald and Lawrence Taylor?
Jordan is the GOAT at BASKETBALL But he is not as strong or fast and certainly doesn't have the endurance of Lebron.

The reason people got annoyed is because nepotism gifted a spot to Bronny that some other kid deserved more than him. Probably someone from a much less priveleged background who had spent their whole life working towards that goal. Just because Lebron and Klutch Sports have got the Lakers over a barrel.
Just my opinion, but that doesn't sit right with me.

Why try to use that moment to be flippantly dismissive of when he was drafted as if it was such a low draft pick it didnt even matter. We get the point but you arent arguing in good faith. You're trying to set the scene of the crime up before you walk in and do the analysis of what happened.

Ted & Charles Nesser (father/son-NFL duo) 1926…the NFL is the sport I don’t think it’s possible for this to happen again (at that time the son was 19). In todays NFL you basically have to be 20 years old almost 21 because you must be 3 years removed from hs so realistically QB, PK, punter are the only 3 positions played beyond age 37 on more than rare occasions so if say Arch Manning right now had a son, Arch would need to play at minimum until age 42 (21 years) and his son would have to get drafted that same year for it to be even possible.

How about this....everybody keeps saying he needs to develop, play in the g-league and develop, he has an NBA dad, been around basketball all his life, most of these kids are NBA ready before they are drafted. This is the 1st time in NBA history that an average basketball player was drafted in the NBA because that's all he is, average. wasn't even the best player on his high school team and we all know what happened in college. Tell me, if he hasn't shown to be an exceptional baller in high school or college why does anybody think he will develop into one? Kids work and grind all their lives to develop these skills including his dad and maybe this kid gre up too privileged to put in the work necessary or he just don't have it so I don't understand why everybody trying to force and wish him to have it. Thousands of kids that are hoping to make the NBA don't and it's pretty dam obvious to the eyes that Bronny should have been one of them and that's ok, especially for him he's already rich. If his name was anything but James nobody would have ever wasted anytime recruiting or even paying attention to him and that's a fact. Why the media wants to treat Lebron like he's more than human or an actual king and deserved of "worship" is beyond me, he was born and will one day pass away just like the thousands of other NBA players before and after him. He's not a God just an exceptional basketball player like a lot of other NBA players stop putting him on a pedestal and letting him do what other great basketball players couldn't and can't. Bronny should not be in the NBA, looking at him from high school till now he just don't have that gene, he's just a good basketball player like a lot of us that don't make the NBA.
