I got a sample of this today and its amazing! that tonka in the drydown just goes and goes, its fantastic.
i guess if you own eau extreme and edition blanche....allure homme sport would a boring buy...i am gonna get versace pour homme for a change....love the bottle...love the blue juice....chanel allure bottles are all same...getting boring like dior homme line...why cant they make a different bottle?so lazy
Edition Blanche is the best one in my opinion and that's only because of the fantastic creamy lemon opening. Unless they take some major risks with this line I'll never buy another bottle.
My wife really digs this juice and that's good enough for me. Longevity is 6 hours. But man I don't care if it's not extreme. It's a dope fragrance.

I get excellent projection and longevity on this one. This and Bleu de Chanel are performance monsters on me.
You have no idea how much you made me smile by saying they never get rid of fragrances, because this is my favorite in the Allure line, I use this for special occasions.... but I would like to know what would be a better/cheaper alternative to get?
If you want a cheap alternative to the Original Allure Homme Sport, Versace Pour Homme is WAY cheaper and the average person would never know. I have owned both and got rid of them because as Jer said, it was typical cologne smell and I didn't want to pay to smell like that. I actually tested the Original Allure Homme thinking it was Allure Homme Sport and was blown away by it and I went back to buy it. I opened it in the car and sprayed it and I was like "this is Versace pour Homme. I must have tested the Extereme version" so I took it back and traded it in for extreme and went back to my car and sprayed it again and it still wasn't what I tested. It does smell better than the original though. AHSEE smells like AHS and AHS smells like Versace Pour Homme. So the closest thing would be Versace Pour Homme. I bought a 200ml for $60
wow that is cheap for a 200ml bottle, I will have to smell Versace pour homme
AHS is the better if the two in my opnion as well as serve better as a hot weather (sport) refreshing fragrance. I enjoy the tonka that eau extreme added giving it some sweetness
These fragrances smell nothing like each other at all and surprised you said that they almost smell the same. Sport is waaay more of a citrusy smell where the extreme is a more vanilla / musky scent. I definitely prefer the extreme
+Robert Alvarez it could be that they changed it since I reviewed this, since it was right after they released it. And from what I recall, AHS is slightly more citrusy, but they were so close it was hardly noticeable.
Great review guys. I agree, it's not worth owning both Eau Extreme and Sport. To me, Eau Extreme is Sport with less intense citrus at the top. I do agree with you that Eau Extreme is probably also sweeter. It's a decent fragrance, but if you already own Sport, it's pretty redundant.
Guys, I just bought a bottle of the fragrance, and it says on the bottom " eau de parfum". But you say in this video its EDT. Are you sure? Or maybe Chanel changed the concentration of this fragrance over time? Thank you:)
I just sprayed it from my sample while i watch this, i find it more citrusy than AHS and more similar to VPH than AHS is to VPH.

I recently discovered this juice and picked-up a bottle at Sephora. My wife and I love this stuff. To be honest, we didn't like Homme or Homme Sport (sampled 'em several times as they are always being pushed hard at the local Macy's) so we didn't pay attention to the other flankers. Okay, perhaps "didn't like" is an overstatement. We did like these fragrances but, to borrow a line from Daver, they didn't do anything to differentiate themselves from the other nice-smelling "Baloney Calogney" out there...and with a higher price tag to boot.
Well, we finally took a whiff of Eau Extreme and, to us, it was much different than Homme or Homme Sport...to the point we willingly forked-over $72 for a 100 ml bottle of this love juice. I say love juice because I receive lots of hugs & kisses from the misses when I'm wearing it - I must say! Anyway, we feel both Eau Extreme is a much different beast than the other aforementioned frags. Heck, I'm ever trying to get my nose on Edition Blanche to see I overlooked this one too...almost considered doing a blind buy direction from Channel.com.
Regardless, good review but I'll take Eau Extreme any day over the other two.

I agree with you on this one. I have never really cared for the original Allure Pour Homme, or Allure Sport. Edition Blanche on the other hand is one of two fragrances I never want to be without. I didn't even give this one a second thought because of the name..."I don't like Sport, why would I want an Extreme version". BUT, on a whim i tried it in Sephora and I really enjoy it. To me removing the aldehydes and amping up the tonka really makes this one much more pleasant.
You really do need to give Edition Blanche a try. I love it, and have to retry Allure and Allure Sport occasionally because I just can't believe I dislike them that bad when I LOVE EB so much. They are quite different.

Well, for me this fragance is not extreme in general, but i get the extreme because it is kind of a darker version of AHS. Its more powdery and the performance, at least on my skin, is better than the "original flanker".
For me this is a night version of AHS. I like to use it at spring/summer nights, because of the mint vibe, and for me it gets good deal of compliments.

I wouldn't agree on saying these aren't different enough to own both. I am new to fragrances but from my nose it seems the original allure homme sport stays with the citrus vibe longer and the. Drys down into something sweet but the extreme version only has the citrus type vibe for about 15 minutes and then it goes to this powdery feel with a little citrus in the back.
I just picked up Chanel Allure homme so that puts me at owning all 3 of the Allures and I gotta say that the original Allure is my favorite and gets a lot of compliments my wife Loooooves it!!!

I live by the ocean and trust me cologne the weakest of the threee is what you really need during the summer heat and humidity
yep. we're about to do a split if you are interested. but if you are interested in a full bottle with all the bells and whistles, FragranceNet is probably your best bet
IMO flankers make sense when their night version, summer verson, cologne version, edp version of the original or maybe original with added note (Dior Homme 2012, Pure Malt). If its a different parfume, go and give it a new name! Obviously EAU EXTREME doesnt mean any of above. Its the same with Edition Blanche. They are saving money on design and marketing. And they are also getting ppl who own the original buy the new one because they think that they will match or what not.

It's ok. I think I like it a little more than the original. But nothing is extreme, dissapointing, since the two are so alike still. Chanel could have atleast made it EDP and much darker or something...
for me (daver) it would be: AHS Extreme, AHS Cologne Sport, Allure Homme Sport, Edition Blanche, Allure Homme

If you're doing a review then show you have the bottle or a sample, otherwise I will not believe you and take you seriously.
I rarely show bottles because it's not important. Besides, I'm a reviewer. I'm not about to buy every single bottle I review. That would be financially irresponsible.

I got 12 hours out of this guy. Texas heat ramped it up maybe. But 12 hours strong.

If you like Allure Homme Sport definitely try Yankee candle's new scent candle called Summer Storm. Smells just like AHS or AHSEE!!!

I can't believe all the bad reviews on this frag. The only other frag that I get tons of compliments with is nautica voyage and that was less than 20 bucks. Never worry about compliments.....you will get them but please make sure you and only you like the frag.

Wow they must have changed the formula recently because I got mine yesterday and eau extreme and sport are very very different. Scent, performance both very different. Allure homme sport is a very creamy citrusy vanilla fragrance with pepper sitting in the background. Performance is poor with it. Eau extreme is a minty, powdery and slightly vanilla scent with little to no pepper and no citrus. I smell le male when I smell eau extreme. And eau extremes performance kills AHS. Very very different frangrances
And I can't believe you guys don't mention that AHS nor this is really a
Sport fragrance. No way.
Ì never got the idea of a Sport fragrance. A way to tell the others i smell clean but without smelling perfume. Why not a shower, good soap, and deodorant, it cost less. For me Sport = Bad, or at best uninteresting. Stop buying, cause at the end will get : Tom Ford Sport, Bond No.9 Warhol Sport, and why not Frederic Mall Musc Ravageur Sport XGames Edition.

yeah, every couple of years companies have to raise prices to adjust with inflation. I think if you checked the price today versus the price then in an inflation calculator, they would probably be similar.
I think AHS and AHSE are too generic and boring. I really don't know what is happening to Jacques Polge lately...

Yeah I kinda get that vibe because of the Tonka bean but code I feel is quite a bit stronger
when this thing sticks to clothes, it reeally sticks and lasts!! thats probably the only thing extreme about it.

Eau Extreme just has that strong minty vibe that turns me off a bit and I think it does better when it is sprayed on the clothes and hair ,lightly.I have a strong batch ..I like to blend my Chanel scents in my spray vial so I mix both Allures half and half and it really good like that and even add Blue De Chanel with the two....It really gets nice compliments ....Give it a try and Thank You All for the comments.

i did too. Not as good as the original formulation. weaker projection and the smell is more dull.

Ikram Choudhary I have both versions. To some people the original is better but imo the reform is better. They both smell very similar, the original having a bit more citrus and the reform having a more creamy vanilla. The reform lasts longer on me as well...
