      These top MBA degrees actually pay off pretty quick & big. It's the no name MBAs that are a waste of money. This is from a self taught data professional, so I don't have high education.

    Is it worth it to get an MBA if you are already rich? I want to start my own business but it seems that wharton is basically prep-school for either private equity or consulting work. I want to own thousands of acres of oak trees and sell the wood

    • @lseul8812
      @lseul8812 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The education is great, but the networking is better. You can sell wood without an MBA from Wharton, but an MBA from Wharton will get you the guy that gets the permits for all that logging in South America, the company to buy all that wood, and the financing to buy all the other wood companies.

    • @deadly.desai2
      @deadly.desai2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't go to an Ivy league to get a "good education". That's absurd. It's like purchasing a Louis-Vuitton bag just because you want to carry grocery. If your primary objective is great education, it's found in every top 150 college across nation.
      The reason these high net worth individuals go to these schools is to make important connections. For them it is much more valuable (since they clearly don't need a degree for living). Such a level of valuable connections can only be found at top schools.
      The possibilities are endless at these great institutions. Who knows your roommate might go on to become the ceo of a wall street investment bank. Or the guy who sits besides you in the lecture become the next president of United States. Or the the girl you met last night at the dorm party make it to $ 100B+ club in upcoming years.

      Agreed. The compound returns (before or after tax) invested in a 401K or Roth, rather than dumping it into an MBA degree charging over $100K for tuition alone would far exceed your “salary” increases and potential sacrifice in standard of living post MBA graduation. It’s actually simple math. Nothing you learn in an MBA can’t be learned through online educational a fraction of the cost.

    look at the way these Indians are talking... feels so fake and made-up.... they only seem to be Indians from their skin-tone and names... rest everything is western-inspired... Indians speaking in their original ascent are more clear and crisp in pronunciations and they make sure they reach out well... 100x better than the ones talking in the above brief... Best e..g of a wharton alumni Sundar Pichai... he has maintained his originality!
