Ive been trying for yrs to go on and off this system but im back on track again, the morning routine itself is almost 2hrs for me, considering I've got 3 kids under 6 and the oldest 2 have special needs but I love the system in itself because it gives me accountability... thanks so much for sharing all this information... I grabbed a brand new notebook where I write everything down and sectioned it out to keep a journal of what I've done and what I plan to do... thanks again, this is definetly the organization I need in my life. I work part time and I usually have 4 therapists coming in and out of my apt about 8 times a week both of kids receive income therapy so its hard to clean around ppl but made it to where while the kids have therapy in folding clothes/cleaning ny purse going over my planner etc... cleaning things that require me sitting down and once they leave proceed w any other that requires me to get up... while my kids have therapy I have to keep my 1yr old entertained so I kind of have to sit with him etc... but I love this system more and more... I bought the book but barely have time to read and have listened to the audiobook instead over and over and I think you explain it so much better. Thanks again and sorry for the super long comment. Also in order to send myself to sleep properly I take a bit of melatonin at around 9pmish and takes effect like 45mins that way I dont keep myself up until 12 for no reason
I've been following u for years! I love this system. It's kept my house and life together for over 7 years. We moved and I found I got out of these routines, so I'm re listening to get back into my routines ❤
Gosh I needed this. All in one. A nice place to refer to when I try to "adjust" things then get all confused. When do you recommend doing the Zone work? My mornings consist of prayer/journal time usually by 6am, dressing for my walking (after Bkfst), start laundry, then Brkfst for me and hubby - this takes almost 45 min since I cook a hot meal daily. After my walk & strength, I hang my laundry to dry (so I don't use a dryer) and fold yesterday's that's on the dry rack and go put it away...then I shower and dress for the day. Ck my planner and hope I don't get distracted on the internet in between. Since it's usually almost 10 or 10:30 when I am done with all that, I am anxious to get my day going and rush into what needs done, and I usually skip the zone work because I've never known where to put it in. Hmm, maybe it's just a change of perspective? Thanks Kat. ~Dee
Be sure that your routines and basic weekly plan are habits before introducing zone cleaning. Finding a place for zone cleaning will be much easier once the other things have been habits for a while.
Thank you for these videos! When you say clutter checks after breakfast, lunch, and before bed what does that entail? Is that the 2 min hot spots she talks about?
From what I understand the clutter checks are just a quick look around to see if you left anything out of place in the traffic areas. Example: My jacket on the counter instead of hanging it up. If there is anything out you just put it away. Some days I don't have anything and others I'll have something quick to put away.

I’m so glad you are and thank you, RuthAnn❤️🤗
Hi, Kat-thank you for explaining this system. It appreciated. I am finding that I need to shower and get ready for bed before I make dinner. 🤣
That’s great! It’s important to discover what works best for you and do that!❤

I personally prefer to do my zone cleaning right after lunch 15 min T-F. I don't do it on Monday since the weekly home blessing takes so long.

It means picking up and putting away anything that's been left out in the last couple of hours!
