Been watching your videos for a while! YOU are one of the reasons I started making youtube videos! Grateful for your inspiration and hope you have a wonderful 2024!
Ryan, I'm from Israel. We received you love. Thanks for having us in your thoughts. You motivate me and put a smile on my face. Thanks! And you make miss Boulder and Colorado in general. Been there for two summers back in 2007 & 2008.
I have pancreatic cancer. I'm grateful you share your zest for life! I'm grateful I can watch you run through this stunning landscape! I love life and that's not going to change. ! I'm grateful that this beautiful earth will still remain for people to enjoy long after I'm no longer around!
Ryan. So good for the soul to express gratitude and thanks out loud. I’m 78 now and SO grateful that I ‘found’ cycling at 72 when I was finished with my professional life and the transitioning things like Boards and committees. So now I’m grateful I can ride my road bike, gravel bike, MTB and can actively contemplate a Priority 600X for adventures in 2024 and beyond. Thanks. You and others have inspired me on my journey these past years.
I had a similar experience today, also have COVID and since it’s mild so far, went on a solo bike ride. Took time to reflect and think of what I’m thankful for, despite being bummed we couldn’t do Thanksgiving with family. Thank you for making the content you do, we really enjoy it and it inspires so many people.
Hey Ryan, Hi from the UK. This really resonates with me. Like you, sports and outdoor activities have been central to my life. I'm 61 now and have another 50 mile ultra in the New Year. In the last month one of my contemporaries had a serious stroke, and another passed away from a heart attack. I think of them and others when I'm struggling on a climb or in an ultra, and I'm so thankful that I can still do this stuff. Thank you too, for all the great films! Peace.
Im 66, and sometimes Im the youngest one to show up for weekly group AM rides. Some of the 70 year olds flat out embarrass much younger riders. Maybe not a lot of 70 year olds doing that, but there's some.
Ryan, you don't cease to amaze me with your positive attitude and gratitude for your own life ... and how you genuinely care for others' well-being as well. You are a true inspiration ... very appropriate video release for Thanksgiving :)
Dude! I didn’t know you had Covid! Can’t believe you did that huge run but wait yes I can believe it! That was a real gratitude march right there. We are all grateful for your big strong heart! Love you.
You are an inspiration to some one like me! Use to be an alcoholic and doing my thing to get past the life and have been getting back into biking. I mtb and do road trials. I’m a trekie and I’m glad I have someone real ,,myself and my kiddo can look up to! Hopefully I or we can meet you sometime. Tulsa here.
A little goes a long way. If everyone took care of their family and their closest neighbours, well then everyone on this planet would have been taken cared of by somebody. Stay kind and positive, you are an inspiration in so many ways for so many.
Sir i wish i had someone like you in my friends and family circle. You are an incredible person. And dont ever forget that. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I did the Boulder Skyline Traverse by myself on the last day I was in there in 2017 before coming back to Portugal. Still one of my fondest memories there. Grateful to have known Boulder an its people. Hope to go back someday and do it again!
You ran this just in time for all the snow! I'd love to do an out and back of the Boulder Skyline Traverse once the snow clears up. Love you and your videos!
We are grateful for you too! I just finished Covid a couple of days ago too. Had to isolate from the fam. Your videos kept me entertained as always. I revisited the Great Divide series. I’m thinking about doing part of it soon. Thanks for another great video. A picture of me on top of Green Mountain sits on the mantle in my parents house. Your video brought back good memories.
You make our world a better place and we are grateful for you and are honored to have you as a friend and in our lives. Thanks for the video. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Du bor på ett vackert ställe, du har en fantastisk kondition, syntes inte en svettdroppe! Högre toppar än vad vi har i Sverige var du ju uppe på. Ha en bra helg Ryan.
Again, thanks for your adventures and your thoughts. I wanted to do RAGBRAI next year for the first time. Your videos were my inspiration. I hope I can see you there, shake your hand and say Thanks! You've been such an inspiration to my riding and outlook on life. So that's one of the things I'm thankful for this year!
Happy Thanksgiving Ryan! Capturing and sharing your adventures and stories truly make a difference in this world! Many of us make small donations, (through time, helping hands, finances and many other forms), that can seem to go unnoticed in this fast, loud, complex world. The shiny, large scale items always get the front line. But I have come to see and know that it’s these types of small offerings, daily, that become a lifestyle, that truly make a difference! You are such an inspiration, and I am thankful for you! Blessings to you Ryan!
Ryan thank you thank you for posting this today I am also under the weather and it gave me hope for healthier days ahead - your joyful heart is making a difference in this world - Happy Thanksgiving Your bday sharing friend Dawn 1/21/63
Ryan - thanks for taking us along on your run/hike adventure. Found your channel back in 2020 and have been inspired to get out and do more. Registered for Ragbrai 2024 last week - hope to connect and say hello next July...
Hey Ryan, thanks for another great video! Just you and the camera. Your character and integrity shine brightly. Remain awesome always. Thanks again, Steve & Jan
Sitting here at my kitchen table with my daughter just kinda tired haven`t slept to good in two days but tonight is coma night . Hope hope happy indigenous heritage month
I have always thought that if everyone could understand the primary goal for all humans is to have a roof over their head, warm clothes and enough to eat our world could come together and create peace. There reason war happens is because people can only be oppressed for so long and then violence takes over. That and the few powerful people who can never have enough. I think you are on the right track Ryan, help everyone in small ways and send out healing vibes to the world❤
Sorry to hear that you caught COVID. Glad that you’re strong enough to go running. Boulder gets some strange weather. 66 degrees and sunny yesterday and 19 degrees and snow for tonight. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
Ryan your a very naughty man ! Whilst I enjoy cycling running has always been my first love. The only trouble was I was always getting soft tissue injuries and a physio here in the UK is not cheap so I gravitated to cycling more. I also made an excuse to myself that aged 72 cycling is so much easier . Now after watching this I have just ordered a new pair of trail shoes as its so much easier to get up to the South Downs and like where you live get away from everyone. I'm going to be far slower than I ever was but my smile will also be wider getting out there running again. Best wishes.
I’m a bit jealous of the gorgeous trails that are in your backyard , l like to see you run cause l feel like it's the most basic , natural , democratic and accessible activity there is... 😊 ...and l’m sure that l speak for many by wishing you good health always (physical and mental) and a great thanks giving to you , Amelia (if she's still around of course ) and to all the ones you love , be well Ryan ! ✌🙂
You always keep me inspired no matter what you do, Ryan. Thank you ❤ Please take care of yourself, since you said you had covid.. I'm so sorry about that..🫤
Thanks for the great video! Hope the run helped kicked the virus out of your system. Question, any recommendations besides Boulder Creek for water on Skyline? I did it south to north in October with 3 liters of water, and that was not enough for me.
Greetings from Coos Bay, Oregon. I grew up in SW Denver but spent a lot of time in Boulder (climbing/Tulagi's after) and love seeing one of my favorite places.Graduated DPS-Lincoln HS in 1972 and went to Metro State College (then). Had friends at CU so I burned a path from Golden to Boulder on 93. I remember when the Hornbook Inn burned to the ground. Going past Rocky Flats was always kinda spooky. When I see you running on those trails makes me wonder if you've ever sprained (or worse) an ankle or knee? Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for the great content!
I sure hope you didn’t overworked your infected body. I wish you all the best and hope to be able to visit your town once the kids left my house and I can cycle the GDMBR and the Baya Divide.
I’m grateful for all of YOU!!
And we are for you.
Been watching your videos for a while! YOU are one of the reasons I started making youtube videos! Grateful for your inspiration and hope you have a wonderful 2024!
Hey Ryan, Small question please. I wonder, that cereals you are eating at the start of the video, is that with soy milk? Which brand sir? Thanks.
Ryan, I'm from Israel. We received you love. Thanks for having us in your thoughts.
You motivate me and put a smile on my face. Thanks!

I used to run on the beach at night after work and I finally grabbed a slingshot to run, pickup rocks, and shoot while jogging. Fun
That does sound fun!

Question, any recommendations besides Boulder Creek for water on Skyline? I did it south to north in October with 3 liters of water, and that was not enough for me.
There’s a spring very close to the cabin that I highlighted, near the road crossing on flagstaff. It only runs in the spring though
Awesome, Thanks for info and reply!
I feel you Ryan thank you
