Fred used to drive over from Wicker Park to our house in the suburbs when I was in high school to teach my brother drums. He was definitely an odd ball, and I can remember being a little weirded out by him, especially when he would stick around to hang out with my mom and Italian grandmother in the kitchen. He eventually had to stop teaching my brother as he was moving to LA to become an actor. I definitely did not expect to see him succeed at all, much less to become such a prolific comedic actor. Glad to see he proved me wrong!
@@trickytreyperfected1482 I mean there are so many reasons not to watch, Chris Pratt, illumination, and Chris Pratt (Chris Pratt is mentioned twice because he's a terrible actor) but this would be one of my reasons to watch, much like the fact that jack black's in it.
Fred Armisen is just hilarious in so many roles and I’ve been a fan of his since his days on SNL.😊😂😂😂 I’m so glad they got him back for the last episode of “Brooklyn 99.”😊💖 Also, that first guy was Sebastian on “NCIS New Orleans.”😊🤣
What are you on about, that scene had me crying of laughter! The sweat, his pained facial expression that gets more twisted the longer he looks at Barry, his complete inability to keep it together. One of the funniest scenes from this season in my opinion.
0:50 this is the most animated i have ever seen this actor in a movie, they gave him actual acting lines, and he can act! why does everyone always give him the "dumb" roles. Dude legit looks pissed that there arent armed guards taking this person away
I still love the idea that Raul fled Venezuela when Chávez died and Nicolás Maduro took power. Fleeing to New York, he took a new identiy and does everything in his power to hid his past. Hence Mlepnos( and his every changing identity) Would you like to know more? Raul was a member of the Chávez regien/government of Venezuela , and pretty well encreched. Sister city was in 2009, hence while Hugo Chávez was very much in power.Given what he said, his position and wealth, there was probably allot of corruption . Even with high oil prices But in March 2013, Chavez died. Nicolás Maduro sized powered. Things....did not go well in general for Venezuela therefater. B99 Pilot was in September 2013, meaning that Raul could have fled sometime before that and was already in New York. Did he steal allot of money on the way out? Did he defect to the CIA? Did Maduro just want Chavez loyalist dead? Who knows, but it does possibly explain all of the weird and more importanlty inconsistent . Always changing, shifting in fear of the past. As of the final episode September 2021, Nicolás Maduro is still in power in Venezuela . Which means, if the about theory is true it would still make sense for him to be in this mode.
Wait tho…for real? Or is it a joke I’m not getting lol only saw a few episodes of Barry. But I know Armisen and Hader are buds from way back. I wanna see a compilation of that if you’re being for real lol! Now I’m so curious!!!
GIVE THIS MAN A SHOW...Alien Says What ..it follows him on his journey from ____ lol, to the US, I'd watch just to see him respond to "so are you here for business or pleasure" ...."Yes..thank you" 😅😂😂😂
Saw him on Jimmy (the unfunny one) show and didn't know he was the same guy from Parks and rec. He was hilarious in that episode, one of the funniest episodes of the show mostly because of him!
Mlep(clay)nos is an absolute hero, but the "jail" monologue is ICONIC
Not to mention accurate af
No, his name is Jerry
Jerry Barfarlakstan.
Mlepknos wins by a violin solo
He’s my favorite
"Clay" is my favorite letter.
I love how he elegantly play the violin only to say "guitar" after it
😂😂
I lose it every time, as soon as he says "guitar"
Bro that sent me. I couldn’t stop laughing 😂😂
100% agree! That part had me buckled! Guitar!
I want a full compilation of all of his roles, the Fred Armisen Multiverse
It’s called Portlandia
Portlandia has 50 of his characters in one series
Mlepknos really seemed at home in ny
Fred is his stage name. He's really Gerry Von Frankenstein.
His role in Eurotrip as the creepy Italian guy. Never thought it was him till I went through the cast
Mlepclaynos looked so happy that Jake enjoyed his music. Very sweet.
Clay is silent
@@v_wibowosilent but spelled out, so correct
@@YewtewbaIt’s silent AND invisible.

"Oil is food for cars." So underrated
I would have told him that Oil is more like vitamins for Cars, gasoline is food.
@@SubjectDelta20 and he would have sent you to jail for overexplaining
oil as in petroleum you use to make gasoline; not the oil you use as lubricant for your car; so he's right.
Don’t use”underrated” until you learn what it means. You need help with words.

I think that oddness makes him excel and becoming certain characters
Tell us more please....😮
Did he play the drums very well and ended it by saying "Piano"?
This is a glorious claim to fame
I've heard on podcasts people say he's a really quiet man at parties
the fact that there is enough content to make an 8 minute video of just the best moments boggles my brain but i’m so here for it
Fred Armisen is a comedy genius.
A twisted, weird, bizarre, insane comedy genius. Love that guy!
❤😂❤😂❤😂
As a venezuelan, this is really really funny, and somewhat accurate believe it or not...
Oil is food for cars?
@@wintersbabyy Yes, it is, among other stuff Hahaha
I remember my chavista causing sending that episode say this what los imperialista think about us and the rest of the family laughing our asses off.
Commenting on TH-cam? Believe it or not, jail.
His mother is/was Venezuelan, so most likely was inspired by her and her side of the family for that accent
This is like 0.0001% of what he's done, we need more, MOAAAAREE!
I lost it when he said guitar LMAO
1:22 the genuine “thank you” is so hilarious
If you don't like Fred Armisen, believe it or not, jail.
If you do like him believe it or not also Jail
😂😂😂
@@FrankieLunndamn I am screwed either way
Why, most certainly, I believe it and support it
😂😆
I wish he would said, "you call ambulance for toe pain, JAIL rite away!"
I like when Fred plays drums on Seth Myers’ show and sometimes he informs the viewers about a book he has clearly not read
Just so people know, this is the guy who's gonna be voicing Cranky Kong in the Mario Movie.
Another reason not to watch

Was a miss for me, thought he was the worst part of the movie, just not right for the character.
"Playing music too loud.... Straight to jail."
I like the sound of this fictional Venezuela country.
Fred Armisen is a national treasure!!!
All of this led up to his greatest line 'this is for cristobal and hank 🤯'

I love that episode of 30 Rock where he plays the neighbor Liz thinks might be a terrorist 😂😂
Yes! 😂
"The Amazing Race"
When Fred played former Iranian president (not the dead one from a few days ago) Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. That was super hilarious.

I'm not alone anymore.
I thought a Latino Rick morranis

It was definitely funny...where tf was your mind at...the face he made when sweating balls then looking back at Barry was hillllllaaaarrriiiioousss
I was gonna wait until the whole season came out, but then I saw that clip and I had to start the season. Literally hilarious

Best patients in the world becoz of jail 😂😂😂
5:30 it’s funny that that’s his third time talking about that very specific subject between this and 2 episodes of Portlandia
He was great on Barry. Only a few minutes but it was so funny lol
Fred Armisen is really good in Our Flag Means Death as a pirate bar tender well!
in an interview he said his comedic superpower is creeping around corners. this video demonstrates that
Jail part sooooo good 😂

With respect to Fred. The Walton Goggins hive is growing by the day.
