informative video!! Keep up the good work.
Have a blessed day my man!
cant believe that ive been here 3 years already
So glad you have! :)
I have a 2006 Ford ranger with 188k miles great truck just replaced the trans and the engine isn’t stock should last me quite a while love my little truck and I’m sure u love urs! Much love dude
Yessir! Little trucks for the win!
Clean looking engine bro. I need to shine up my first gen lol
Work in progress but a spit shine helps!
Get a cheap endoscope and check the heads. Worked great to check if my engine needed cleaning. Still clean with 205k miles
Heard that! Would love to see up close what the inside of all the motors look like! Prelude, Accord, and Tacoma!
Got my 98 4runner with the 5vz motor back last year in October. It had a bad clatter to it in addition to a lifter tick. Had a rough idle too. I put half a quart of MMO and 5.5 quart of 15w-40 and over the course of a thousand miles or so that clatter and lifter tick went away! Idle improved too. I also had what I believe was engine ping. When I opened the throttle and was under load the nice motor noise cut out and sounded like metal shavings bouncing around near the front. I also put MMO in the fuel tank and that gradually went away as well. Just wanted to share!
Sounds like it worked out for ya. MMO stands for? I’m new here lol
@@ConnorLee Marvel Mystery Oil. You can it at Walmart and auto parts stores. It’s def more of a slow cleaner.
What exhaust are you running? Sounds beefy, not much rasp. Is it super loud at hwy speed? Sounds about as good as a 3.4 can sound
I have not really installed much on the exhaust. When I bought the truck it had a muffler delete out to rusty dual tips and I believe it has a glasspack on it too. I got rid. of the horrendous dual exit exhaust and just added a single pipe out to where it normally exits from the factory.
Hey if you show how you do that to put that extra battery and appreciate that I have the same year well 9796 Toyota Tacoma sure how to do that that would be awesome I would like to see how
I will certainly make a video on the install when I get all of the components in!
Great vid. I’m looking at a 1998 taco with 51k miles on it tomorrow. Guys asking 3500 and I do know the frame is rusted. Any recommendations for how bad the frame would be in order for it to be a pass? Thanks.
For it being $3500 the frame has to be falling apart. You can’t buy these trucks under 200k for under 4 grand
See if the frame is under recall, you can get a new one for free if it's.
What headlights are those? Mine are looking real foggy and hoping to keep the lowkey look like you've got.
Oem I believe, I just buffed all the haze off and polished them
What suzes were the hoses?
Engine oil go to rotella t 5 10/30 will help that v6 a lot
Really?! Hadn't thought of running that. Always though that was for diesel motors.
where did you buy your locking fuel door???
It’s factory actually
I would just use premium gas from shell it's top their detergents anyway
I always use premium and Shell when I find em!
@@ConnorLee then you shouldn't need to use fuel additives or seafoam technically
@@theanimeotaku2794 These trucks don’t call for premium,They use regular octane
3.4 v6
Please dont get into fresh air delivery into the HVAC system when you install that deep cycle battery.
Whatchu mean?
