Through the whole 80's Richie just used Marshall JCM 800 amps, two 100 Watt heads for the clean sounds and two 50 Watt heads for the overdrive sounds! Fot the heavy sounds Richie always used normal BOSS Super Overdrive pedals to boost the 50 Watt Marshall heads!!! For the NEW JERSEY WORLD TOUR from 1988 to 1990, Richie used live a big 19" Rack build by famous rack builder from Los Angeles, but only for very special sounds!!! Most of the time he just used the Marshall heads together with simple BOSS pedals.

The white Super Strat you can see in the video of the song "You Give Love A Bad Name" is not a JACKSON build guitar! It's a guitar build by the CHARVEL guitar company, in early 1986 Richie ordered two Super Strats from CHARVEL...One is the white one with HSS and Floyd Rose Vibrato, the second one was a black one with only one humbucker in bridge position and of course original Floyd Rose Vibrato!

Do i need to know the settings of the profiled amp to fully use the liquid profiling feature? For example, in this video the four bands of the EQ were set to 0 and then Thomas throw in the Plexi preset and dialed all to 10. But what if the amp has been profiled with all set to 10? Would i then get 20, nine more than Spinal Tap :) ?

Sorry guys, but the guitar sound shown in this video for RICHIE SAMBORA's YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME is not really good...There are other videos on TH-cam who does it a lot better, for example this one from an excellent guy from india/australia...: th-cam.com/video/9upgMQDhXG4/w-d-xo.html
