As a transman I would like to say it is “normal”. The feelings I’ve had my entire growing up life in this body was something I wish onto NO ONE. However, as a transman I AGREE. Gender identity and gender dysphoria should not be taught in schools to children. It should be something a person comes to terms with by themselves and not “taught” that they are. to be honest this happens A LOT, but usually they are more ashamed of the whole ordeal and keep it more hush hush, some giving interviews in documentaries to try and dissuade young people from doing it
the main issue doesn't seem to be the idea of transitioning, but the impossibility of actually doing it, you can not actually change your sex, instead you wil end up looking like a chinese knockoff version of what it is supposed to look like.

Nah, the idea of transitioning is absurd as well. You can't be born in the wrong body. You can only be mentally ill. Changing your body isn't a fix, it's a workaround. A workaround that kinda works for some and is absolutely horrible for others. But the initial problem is still in the mind.

It isn't any more absurd than sex changing though. It's rarer, but I would argue it's less absurd because the observable differences between races are mostly cosmetic, while the differences between sexes are functional, mental and behavioral on top of cosmetic.

You can be a black person born and raised in Japan and have the same culture as people in Japan while having the same race as people in Africa, with nothing in common culture wise. As a transman I would like to say it is “normal”. The feelings I’ve had my entire growing up life in this body was something I wish onto NO ONE. However, as a transman I AGREE. Gender identity and gender dysphoria should not be taught in schools to children. It should be something a person comes to terms with by themselves and not “taught” that they are. I started my transition at the age of 30, once my brain had reached maturity and my hormonal development had reached its peak. So I knew for sure this is me, this is what I wanted. Gender questioning was not taught to me in school and I found my true identity perfectly fine. I feel teaching kids inclusivity and acceptance is all that is needed lo
