    I think this Macrame Fall Idea with a Dollar Tree pumpkin form is so charming. I love the way it looks on my front door. It's the perfect wreath to carry me through until Thanksgiving. Definitely it's the perfect way to great my guests this fall. What do you think of my Macrame Pumpkin Wreath? What would you do differently? Is this a project you'd like to try this fall?

      Love it. Did you use 120 inches on the first rib you did? It looks so short. Thank you

    I see these wire wreath forms in so many different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. I made a heart one. This is a great idea. I love how it turned out. I’m learning new ideas and skills from you! Your talent is inspiring. I am Happy to be learning together with you.

    Hi Michelle and Stephanie
    What a great project. A charming decorative object to enhance your front door. A lot more unique and interesting then a fall themed wreath. Impressed by how you integrated the beads to the wire form. Very instructive you covered all the steps required to be successful. Macrame is deceptively simple especially how elaborate it can look. I used to 'Macrame' back in the late 70's. Mostly did larger Plant Holders. I did tie a 18" Long, Christmas Angel wall hanging, that we've display every Christmas time in are home for over 40 Years. Your Fall Pumpkin Project is very appealing, well excused, and professionally done. I'm subscribing. Thanks Michelle and Stephanie.

      Thanks so much for watching and subscribing to our channel! That means a lot! I couldn't agree with you more that macrame is deceptively simple! I for one am mesmerized by looking at some of the patterns, wondering how in the world they are made, but when you see the steps it's actually pretty easy.

    Love this!!!!! I definitely want to give this a try. I remember doing a little bit of macrame in the 70s too! I’m glad it’s back!!! Thanks so much for such a good tutorial on how to do this! I didn’t really remember and was also thinking that I wanted to add beads to my macrame and pumpkin wreath but wasn’t really sure how to do it!!! Thank you again! ❤

    Hi. I love the design and the tutorial but I am having trouble keeping the wires together after cutting. Can you give me any advice on this?

    • @2thesunnyside
      @2thesunnyside  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A little duct tape should hold it together while you continue tying knots down the wire to create your design. Being that my Mom made this though, I'll let her chime in if she has any other tips to offer. 😉 Hope this helps. ❤️

    Curious how that would have looked if you did a full square knot

    • @2thesunnyside
      @2thesunnyside  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you were to do a full square knot it wouldn't create that twisting pattern.

    What size were the bigger beads and what size were the smaller? Please and thank you!

    • @2thesunnyside
      @2thesunnyside  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We used 3/4" and 1" beads. We would've used the same size throughout the entire wreath but we ran out and had to compromise with what we had on hand. You can grab some here: amzn.to/3dgZai3

    What did the Cord measure for around the pumpkin, please?

    • @2thesunnyside
      @2thesunnyside  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s 120” on the finished wreath. We had to film this part again because you couldn’t see the knot in detail…so for the video clip it’s a shorter strand. 😉 Hope that helps.

    • @julienelms3153
      @julienelms3153 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No around not one bar please

    • @2thesunnyside
      @2thesunnyside  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh I understand now. We're not sure. 🤔 We only know how much we used for the entire wreath. You could see how much comes in a roll and know you need at less. I'd estimate you'd need about 1/2 as much so 60"

  • @yvonnesauer7856
    @yvonnesauer7856 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The cord she started with doesn’t look like it’s 120 inches. What am I missing?

    • @2thesunnyside
      @2thesunnyside  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You're so observant! She did use a cord 120 inches long for the finished wreath. However, when filming you couldn't see how to make the knot in detail, so the clip we filmed for the video in more detail is using shorter strand.
