    Unfortunately the app is so bad I had to come here to learn how to do this. Luckily its a great vid. Great explanation.

    Hi, is the frequency database available via a web browser link so I can view in comfort at home on my PC make a list before sitting in 4x4 to program one by one. Would be nice if a file of chosen frequencys/ Names could be created then put on phone and imported to the app to write to radio?

      Unfortunately not, but we will be sure to pass this feedback and suggestion on to the team to look into!

    At 3:56 what does scan a, b, and c (mine also has scan p) do when you add a frequency. I can’t find anything in the manual about it.

      Did you find out what the abcp does and do you tick these boxes

      I can’t say for sure what they mean but I think one is normal scan, one is priority scan 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Thanks for the video-a great explanation of a feature I never would of even known I had access to! Will these extra channels be scanned along with the regular scan or is it a separate scan?

    • @GMEaus
      @GMEaus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi David, yes, any RX-only channels programmed into the zone will be scanned in addition to the standard 80 UHF CB channels

      Hi guys, After watching all the reviews. I'm still having trouble. After adding some listen only channels along with the 80cb to zone one. Scanning won't.get zone won't stop on any of the listen only channels programmed in as you say?

    • @GMEaus
      @GMEaus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi @@ragingmonkeyspunk, just want to check that the selected listen only frequencies are properly added and nearby? Just as for them to appear in the scan they need to be in range and communicating to be picked up.

    Hi I’m looking for the subsequent video explaining setting up zones in more detail but I can’t find it. Can you please help me.

      Hi Gary, we ended up covering a lot more detail in this video than we first intended, so we haven't made another one! Is there something specific you would like to learn more about?

    Thanks for this video as there are no print instructions. I have a newer version of the app 2.08.3 Build 322 Oct 12 2023 (I can tell it's a newer version as items are in different positions) which has a small bug where the State of NSW is still used in New Zealand: After selecting New Zealand > Christchurch > 20km the heading for the list of channels is "Channels within 20km of NSW, Christchurch".
    I have 2 of the XRS-370C models. I'd like both set up exactly the same. Is it possible to Read Radio 1 and Write the setup to Radio 2?

    • @GMEaus
      @GMEaus  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Tony, thanks for the feedback, and apologies we missed your comment until now!
      We will pass your feedback onto our Dev team to look into. In regard to your question about setting up two radios, yes, you can save the radio config from Radio 1 into the app, and then write the same config to Radio 2.

    What do the Scan A, Scan B etc. switches do?
    And can you program the XRS to only scan the "listen-only" frequencies?
    Thanks.

    • @GMEaus
      @GMEaus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there,
      From default the A, B, & C options refer to different Scan options (A is open scan, B is Priority scan and C is Netscan). If you wish to select that in your zone they can be added but are not essential.
      As for a scan that includes the listen only frequencies, you will need at least one of the 1-80 channels included as well.
      Hope this helps!

    can you connect the TX6160 to the XRS Connect app ?

    • @GMEaus
      @GMEaus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately not as the TX6160 does not have bluetooth to allow it to be connected. The XRS Connect app only works with the XRS range of radios.

    Are the tx4500 series getting XRS?
    Are handheld radios going to get XRS?

      Hi Peter, thanks for the suggestions. Our team is currently looking into and working on increasing the XRS range and we will be sure to pass this on to them.
