Great video mate, I just installed my GME 330 yesterday on my 200 series. The hardest and longest part was getting the old radio out behind the dash. The new unit is so small i placed it under the glovebox on top of the removable panel. Anyway, thanks for taking the time for making this excellent instructional video. I am now a subscriber.
Great video mate. Also for viewers to remember to not mount the box under the seat or floor if they go through deeper bodies of water. Duplex is to make sure of the repeater channels, mate, so where there’s a repeater & you hit duplex, you’ll function with that repeater so you’ll Tx on one channel and Rx on another

I just got back from a trip and I was getting intermittent static sometimes quite bad. Thinking maybe I’ve run the coax too close to something that’s drawing power?
I like the older style of uhf I’m not a fan with the hand screen things Also will the arial placing its always on the bull bar for me because it looks good and tbh I’m only like listening to the truck drives because my dad’s a truck driver and stuff
that's so true man, i think if you are way out in the outback than having it on the roof might be worthwhile. But for most of us on the bullbar works a treat.
Any other location that I can put my control box ? My car is manual and I feel like it touching the control box while I changing gear if I put it there.
A damn pity GME do not rein in its 'authorised' distributors who engage in unconscionable and anticompetitive conduct in the marketplace. The game's up as far as I'm concerned. I don't know if GME is complicit or not, but I have enough damning evidence to take it to the ACCC. There will be a cost for this. There was a time when I wouldn't buy anything but this Aussie product . . . now . . . .
@@andrewford80 It asked me to submit a report/complaint and I obliged. I know not what has happened since. Suspect it is so underfunded that my issue is not important. Although, with bureaucracies one never knows. I would love to see them brought to heel and pay a penalty, just the same.

it's possible or maybe the cable has some big bends in it? i have not had this issue.

Hey does anyone know what amp fuse was used? In the manual it states 2 amp 13.8 volts. All the ones in the box are 5 and above.

Is this unit a CB or GMRS? It looks like a midland 275 GMRS, but has squelch like a CB. Will this work in North America

it can be hard to find inside the cab. You may need to pull your carpet back in order to find the grommet hole.
I’ve installed my uhf the other day and everytime I press the arrow to flick through channels just keeps coming up saying it’s scanning lol
Why does the display flicker so much? Can you turn that off
330 doesnt have an inbuilt speaker, the 370 does.
